My kids won a free martial arts class from Premier. When we went to their free class, Shelly who owns the business asked if I want to sign them up and so I bought a martial arts class for my two kids ages 6 and 8. I paid over $3000 for both of them for 6 months class. After only a month of going, once a week, my kids were scared to go. And they told me they hated it there. I asked Shelly if I can get a refund since they only went for three months and only once a week. We were also moving to a different state so how can they go to their classes anyway. Now she tells me theres no refund, she didnt mention any of this when I was paying for the classes. And then after a lot of text messages to her, she agreed to refund me. The check came in the mail and it was only $200 which I believe is not right. I paid over $3000 and my kids didnt even go there that much within those three months and they still have three months left of their classes.Business response

We never sold her **** for both kids . We have contracts signed no refund . The kids trained for 3 Months . We run a very successful Martial arts school we have no control over if parents sign there kids. We enjoyed teaching The 2 Kids
We sell 6 months program for 983 6 months paid in full savings 155 Dollars and she bought 2 basic packages for 149 each package
We do not have control over what the familys spend
Total spent **** We are very sorry if parents stop the kids from training
Good faith we sent her 200 dollars for her .
The kids trained for 3 months on a 6 Month Program
We did nothing wrong
Our contracts say no refund

Their response is unacceptable, so that means I can just forget about the three months worth of classes which is amounted to at least $1300. They said they can't control what we parents spend, and we also can't control any financial hardship caused by this pandemic. We had to move somewhere we can afford. Living in Hawaii is very costly specially for a single mom like me. They should at least consider that. But they're rather ignore my concerns and stick to their greediness. They should at least offer more refund. I was so respectful to them and they were so nice when I was paying but of course their true colors come out when people complain.
