      On September 15, 2023, we purchased Trex brand 2 X 6 decking planks and boxes of stainless steel screws and boxes of caps to cover the stainless steel screws from Honsador Kapolei. No instructions came with the materials, and the drivers included with the stainless steel screws were not the required spacer drivers which work with the caps. As a result of having the wrong drivers, the screws werent driven deeply enough for the caps to cover them properly so the caps are continually working their way out. We complained to the Honsador manager that we wanted someone to rectify the job. She refused to help even though the supplier admitted we should have been provided spacer drivers since we had bought the plugs. Because we werent provided directions NOR the special drivers which would sink the screws to the proper depth to leave room for the plugs, we now have an unsightly deck with plugs popping out daily and water leaking into the s**** holes when it rains. We expect Honsador to rectify our situation. Please See the picture I attached. There are nine holes, and only three still have their plugs. Over a hundred plugs have popped out so far.

      Date of transaction was September 2022. I ordered trusses from Honsador Lumber. I provided them with a roof plan, which I didn't realize was different from a truss plan I supplied my contractor. What I did supply to Honsador was another company's estimate and roof truss plan, which was the correct roof plan. Honsador went off the wrong plans. I received the trusses and let them know it was wrong. I gave them the correct truss plan, and they still did it wrong the second time. I told them that I would like a refund and will not be having them do the trusses anymore. They said they do not give refunds and since I signed the contract saying the trusses were correct the first time, it's too bad that I got the wrong trusses, TWICE!The branch of Honsador that I am complaining about is not in *******, Oahu, but it was in *****, Kauai. That truss department has since closed down because they made many other mistakes on other customers orders that they had to fire the truss department manager and now have to make the trusses from either Oahu or ****.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I hope Honsador will seriously consider just refunding me part of my money and this can be resolved easily.

      Hi - I want to reopen this case as I haven't gotten any response from the business I complained about. I thought it was resolved, but was I mistakenly clicked on the BBB response that it was resolved.  I figured it was in the hands of their lawyers so at least they would try to do something.  Honsador has not taken any action regarding my complaint.  Please let me know if BBB can follow up on it.  Thank you.

      I placed an order for kitchen cabinets in June *********************************************************************************** June and July 2021. I received some of the cabinets on August 9, 2021. I was told two of the cabinets were lost in transit and some never arrived or arrived damaged and all would have to be re-ordered. The two cabinets arrived in August and were installed. In September I called them again to check the order status for the remaining missing cabinets and was told they had been re-ordered but had not yet arrived. After several phone calls from me for status updates, I finally received a few more of the missing cabinets and parts in October which we had to go pick up ourselves since they had no availability to deliver. At that time we were waiting for one last cabinet which was finally received in January 2022 and was not the same quality as the other cabinets. I requested a re-order which finally arrived in February 2022 but was ten inches too short. I finally gave up and had the lower-quality cabinet installed.During the 8 month period, during which I had no functioning kitchen, most of the phone calls were initiated by me. The company only called two or three times with updates including the call telling me that they could not deliver the replacement shipment. Messages to the store and to the general manager were never returned. There have been no apology or good-faith offers of compensation or discount.

      i am seeking a billing adjustment for a special order microwave cabinet that I feel was made in a rush and with poor quality craftsmanship and when reordered it came but was 10 inches too short.  I feel a refund of $785.00 for the cabinet and my inconvenience would be fair.
