      My husband and I paid the company $567.00 to file our taxes for 2022. Our taxes still have not been filed. We were not told an extension has been filed because we had our documents in earlier than the deadline to file taxes. I have reached out to the company through phone calls and emails. I have been told 20+ times some one will call me and I still have not received a call. I have email records of this as well. Its June and when I look on the irs website our taxes still have not been filed. Im not sure what to do so Im reaching out to the BBB.

      This client's tax return was completed as of 03/24/2023 as evidenced in the attached documents. The client requested the tax return to be reviewed by a manager because they believed the energy credit on the ****** tax return should have been higher. The manager reviewed the tax return with the client to confirm the results were accurate but assured the client that at their request she would elevate the matter to the ****** ********** of ********* The ****** ********** of ******** has informed the tax industry that they are understaffed and delays would continue to an unforeseen time in the future; therefore, Tax Practitioners have been delayed with getting responses from the department.  The client received copies of the federal and state tax returns on 03/24/2023 at 10:13 am and signed the e-file authorization form **** on 03/24/2023 at 10:22 am but has refused the accept the results and verbally authorize the firm with proceeding to electronically file the 2022 tax returns. Once the client has given us a verbal permission to proceed with filing the tax return, then we can complete the electronic filing service. Our goal is to exceed the client's expectations which is why we voluntarily offered to contact the ****** **** of ******** to get a written response about their request at no extra charge and still waiting on a response from the *************** as of today.
