Im a 65-year-old who is part of the silver sneakers fitness program for seniors. This club is one of two that ******** pays for or subsidizes.As a member, for a year, I saw the kinds of things that reflect poor management, or poor business practices.For instance, although theres a paper towel dispenser, Ive never seen it filled with paper towels.In the mens locker room, there are three sinks. But one of them has been consistently clogged for months.Got drano?Most clubs in the industry close early on Saturday and Sunday. Generally, around 7 oclock.This club, however, closes at 1:00 clock both on Saturday and Sunday.The sauna in the mens locker room should be occasionally cleaned and washed out with water and something solvent. This reviewer hasnt seen evidence of this ever being done.$20 is all it took to show me the way though.After explaining that, my keys had been stolen with the tag on the key ring, these people insisted on me paying $20 for its replacement,The rude owner, ***************** on this day was disrespectful, dismissive, and falsely suggested I wasnt following the rules. The other gym around the corner, of which Im also a member of, simply replaced the key tag at no cost.There are better options on this island when it comes to fitness clubs.The reader of this review is encouraged to explore them.

Came into Valley Isle Fitness on a 3 day trial pass in September. Came back again thinking of joining in December. After being give a *************************************************************** 2 times on the 15th I came in and this very rude person working said was I going to join that day and I said I had not decided I still had 5 days on my trial. He said, I was taking advantage of them by using the free pass that I had used twice in the prior 5 days. He raised his voice at me. I told him he was rude and it was not my job or position to place restrictions on how often one could come in. That if there were restrictions I should have been told before it being offered to me. I asked him to apologize. He said, no we are running a business and you are taking advantage.In front of me I had a signed document stating that I had a pass good for 5 more days.I said I was thinking of joining but who wants to pay to be treated so horribly. I left and said you make me feel sick. He laughed. The first day I came in there was a toilet overflow in the bathroom it was really dirty and the floor super slippery and a man was brought in to see that the water was leaking through the wall with no consideration to a female being in the ladies locker room or any respect. I have seen other wayward things there I did like their sauna after exercise but not enough to be treated and accused on false allegations.Please spare yourself do not accept a trial pass they will abuse you for it.Terrible experience. Bullies.
