I have tried to pay this business for services rendered since the service was provided on 5/13/21. Sewer Solutions removed a root from an accessible cesspool that caused sewage to back up into the house. On that date, the provider, *********************************, did not know what to charge for the service. At the time, I had a check ready to pay for the service. They never contacted me, and I learned later that though the root got cut, the workers left it in the yard and did not remove it. The tenants had to dispose of it themselves. The same problem recurred in July 2021, two months later. I called the number leaving a voice message, and no response back. I had to contact another company to fix the same problem. That company charged $150 for cutting the root back so it would not grow back into the cesspool, disposing of it, and providing information on poisoning the root to prevent another root from growing.Later in the week, someone I thought represented Sewer Solutions called and asked if I needed service. I said another company had to fix the same problem that occurred in May, and I wouldn't need their service. I provided my email address since I never received a bill for their work. I never saw anything from them until December 2021 - the bill came from **** PUMPING, not Sewer Solutions, for $340.31 for a service neither company provided. I contacted the BBB and spoke to *****, explaining the situation. I didn't want to blemish the company's record with a complaint, so I sent a check for $175 via **** with a tracking number explaining my position. The check came back "not at this address." After going to where I sent the initial check without results, driving around town, and looking for the other addresses listed for the business, I finally resent the check to the only remaining address, a PO Box with a tracking number. When it did not come back, I thought this was finally resolved until 1/20/23, when another invoice from **** PUMPING came to my inbox.Business response

The invoice to the customer was ****ed as ****. There was a mistake on our end which did not **** the invoice as paid, the system sends out automatic reminders. The **** invoice was communicated to the customer.
