To whom it may concern,I am writing on behalf of my elderly parents that live on the island of Molokai. My parents have been without telephone (Landline 911 services) and internet services since Sunday of December 18, 2022. I have tried on behalf of my parents to get this restored as I live on the island of Maui. On December 18, 2022 I called as my parents had no cell or landline services via my cell phone to Sandwich isle and the respond I received as there was a line that was cut by the State when clearing out debri from a storm drain and ETA for when it was going to be fixed was unknown. I did not leave Molokai until December 19, 2022 in the afternoon as I was also stranded getting a flight home to Maui. I had a phone call from my mom via another device that they had explaining to me that they are still without services. I followed up on December 23, 2022 and received a message that internet services are restored and to reboot. We did all of that prior to me leaving and nothing. I returned a call and technician said no they have not restored service. I would like to know if this can be resolved and looked at as there is no way my parents if needed to get a hold of 911 services to them if something should happen and this has been ongoing till today as they still have no services. Sandwich Isles reached out to my parents after emailing them several emails and a technician reached out and had them install a router that still does not work. As the eldest child and living on Maui there is no way I can have this go on any longer. I have mentioned that I will talk to someone anyone that is willing to listen to help get the services Molokai needs that is reliable and responsible as Molokai is always left out in getting goods and services because of the location. I cannot get another service for them as they are unable to locate their address that can service them. I hope you can help me in resolving this issue.
