            I paid *********************************** of Uvalle Construction and Services $337 on June 20, 2022 a 50% deposit for a deck stripping and stain job. On June 20, he told me would get started on June 21. He arrived on site but was not ready to start. He said he needed to get to ******************************* to ask them some questions about my project which I had initially contacted him on June 9. Then we had weather and in the end we both decided he wasn't the person for the job. He initiated offering to void the contract and return my deposit. On Jul 7, he stopped by and we signed to void the contract. He told me I would have my check within a week or so. I have yet to receive it. Please see the correspondence below via FB Messenger regarding no action being taken to send my refund. Please see correspondence and contract below.

            I employed ************************* with Uvalla to put done Plank Flooring for my business. He told me that it would only take him a week to complete. I paid him the full amount in Good Faith. After 3 weeks of ****** not completing the job, he quit and told me that I couldn't get half my money back. Because I quote " You should have never given me the full amount". He is unethical and dishonest. He quit the job and took my money. He also cursing me out for sending him a mistaken text that was meant for my employee. I also apologized for the text. But ****** didn't care. He doesn't respect women. I was nice and kind to him. Even though, he had promised the floors would be done in a week and it was now three weeks. I only tried to be accommodating. I don't feel that was worth him cursing me out. Don't hire this company to do any work.
