    We placed an order with **** on September 12th for 23 hens and 2 roosters. Of the total 25 chicks received, two died - leaving 23 chicks - only 10 of which were hens. Of course, we didn't realize how many roosters we had received until they were grown and the difference was obvious. There was constant fighting in the coop and obviously not even the ten were laying eggs with the upheaval. I called **** on February 23rd about the issue. By a very rude "customer service rep", I was told I needed to send an email with pictures - which I did. The response insinuated we were lying and asked for a picture with all of the roosters together in one picture, which we could not provide. My husband called the hatchery and again received the same rude customer service and asked to speak to a manager. We asked for them to ship us the 11 (assuming the ones that died were truly hens - which who knows) hens that we were missing. The manager told us the only way they could ship us the missing hens would be for us to order 14 more so that 25 chicks (minimum order) would be in the box to keep each other warm during transit. We didn't want to spend more money with them and asked the manager to just send the 25 on their dime since it was their error - which he wouldn't do. So we asked for a refund for the 11 not received. We were told that would be processed that day. I called again on March 6th and was told the refund was being processed that day. It is March 17th and there has still not been a refund. We have done business with **** several times over the years and have never complained. Just as a side note, we were charged for the cocci spray for a total of 27 birds as well - if you will look at the invoice - which doesn't match. We would like for them to ship us 25 HENS (since that is their minimum order for chicks to have the warmth to arrive safely) with the cocci spray at no cost to us.

    On 6/2/2022 ,I called welp hatchery to buy some chicken to butcher them : I called and talked to ************************* ( I asked: do you have broiler chicken for sale to butcher them ? She said yes, and we continue talking about male and female price and how much they weight and she said price depends on how much you are going to order and they weight **** pounds. I asked for whole sale price. She said yes it will be whole price when you order many of them, I ordered 200 chicken and paid for it using my credit card but ************************* said your credit card will not be charged until next two weeks when we ship them.On 6/3/2022 a day after I emailed ************************* asking her to send me pictures of the chicken but she didn't answer me then I called her asking her to send me pictures and confirm the weight . She confirmed the weight that female chicken weight 8 &male weight 10 pounds but she said I don't have pictures then after a few days I called her again asking her for pictures of the chicken, she was not happy with me calling her for pictures and she said I will send you one.On 6/14/2022 ************************* sent me a picture of growing chicken which made me happy. But on 6/15/2022 the chicken arrived but they were not chicken they were chicks baby ?? chicken and they have been in the shipping process for 3 days and most of them died.I called ************************* I told her I asked you for chicken ?? to butcher! She said you can butcher them, I said they are baby chicken, then she said you can butcher them in 8 weeks.************************* said let me transfer you to the manager then the phone silent. I called ************************* again and she said the manager will call you back but no one call till now

    I am the manager of Welp Hatchery retail sales, We don't sell full grown chickens, we ONLY sell baby chicks, and ***** has been working here for 2 years, there is no way she told the customer that he will be receiving 200 full grown chicks in the mail. No Hatcheries across ******* in my knowledge ships full grown chicks to Retail customers through the **** ******* Our website will verify that we only ship baby chicks. Mr. **** mailed the chicks back to **, and they arrive at the post office here in ***** DOA. I apologize for the mis communication between ***** and the customer. I will reach out to the Customer again today.
