I won't be recommending this company to any of my family or friends. Although they have great customer service, their pricing is exorbitant and far exceeds the local industry standard. They justify their charges based on their expertise, which means projects are billed according to pre-programmed rates in their software, rather than actual time and materials used.For context, my sister used them for an AC repair. She was charged $87 for the diagnostic, which was upfront and reasonable. However, the repair costs were outrageous. She was billed an additional $500 for a part that, based on my research, cost them only $20. While I understand there needs to be a markup, this level is simply unacceptable. On top of that, she was charged an additional $300 for diagnostics, bringing the total to an unreasonable amount.Overall, their flat fee structure, disconnected from actual time and materials, is unfair and misleading. I strongly advise steering clear of this company.Review from Jennifer B

Failed to disclose before they sent an employee to my house that in top of $87 dollars to just come to my house that I would also have to pay $299 just for him to look at the heater not fix nothing just look at it. If I would have been told prior to the appointment I wouldnt have agreed. And I am a bad push over and he was there I felt to bad to say no not fully understanding that I wasnt going to get a fixed product. No itemized receipt was given to me because it was a garage heater not a house heater and the company doesnt have one for that purpose, seems like failure in their end of not having a current form for all services they offer. Extremely upset I had to pay money I didnt have to spare for nothing.Review from Dave B

Charged me over $600 to do a work only half an hour of work. They wouldn't give me an itemized invoice. I have another plumbing issue that I had done, which they worked over an hour, used more parts, only $200. Unfortunately, the owner retired and the company has closed. Otherwise I would've used them. Looks like Dalton doesn't like to show what they are charging for. Save your money if you use them.Review from Renata S

I love Dalton plumbing and heating. Not only do they do an incredible job, they are very knowledgeable/ helpful and make sure you are taken care of. They have been my "go to" guys for a few years. We have been with Daltons for many years. They have replaced the furnace and AC that came with our manufactured home. Every thing has been more than satisfactory. Technicians are always friendly and knowledgeable. Wouldn't have anyone else handle our heating , AC, plumbing and electric. I am a member of Dalton’s program which provides four inspections a year. I have also called them for repair work and fixture installation between inspections. Dalton employees are always so friendly and thorough! Lindsey came to inspect our heater and did an excellent job, she is always friendly and polite whenever visiting and is very diligent.
