5/11/23 we took delivery of a 2023 Toyota Highlander. They marked it sold 4/28. I lost 13 days of free XM radio trial. I started receiving emails from Toyota and XM Radio right away, saying congrats on the new car.It was a very unprofessional process. For almost a year I was receiving texts from salesman ******. Very unprofessional, no name or context on who it was. In April they receive the vehicle. We are told they are adding revo lights on it for $395. We said no, don't want it. Told it was not optional. We spoke with *****************, the financial person. Asked him for the purchase agreement. Then we don't hear anything. Multiple phone calls, texts with ****** we get it moving. They said we aren't writing it until you come in. We said we need a deal in writing before we come in. Meanwhile after being told repeatedly by us that the agreement was incorrect, *** corrected it. He had it written up for $9000 over the cost. He was including the $4000 payoff for old car that we told him we were paying off outright and the $5000 cash down payment. He was including this as our cost to be financed. Re the revo lights the only notation I have of them is a hand written note with "revo" and $395. We do not have one document with all costs clearly listed. *** even forgot to get the check for $9000 from us. We were in the parking lot and he came out to get it. ****** never showed us how to use the car-never went through the features. We are trying to go through the books and watch videos. Don't know how use most of it. At home we check for the MUST HAVE REVO lights, send videos to ******. Nope, we don't have them. Never added to car. Very deceptive and shady business practices. The $395 lights cost me $488 for the life of the loan. They did refund me $395, what they cost me. Spoke with ****, Sales Manager. Lots of wow, we're sorry, that was bad of us.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:One of our complaints was the unprofessional handling of a tail light feature which they say was added and was not. We did receive a refund. But only after we proved by taking a video of the car's tail lights. The overall transaction was horrible. We walked away not knowing anything about the vehicle. The salesman started to walk us through the features, but he didn't really know anything and got distracted and kept leaving us. They were not prepared for our arrival on the day of purchase. It was a 3 hour drive to Clinton so we had make the purchase that day.
The regional Manager ***** called us and sounded completely ***** and unconcerned about our poor experience. Beware of word of mouth.
Sincerely,
***** & ***********************
