Tried to rip me off by quoting me for a whole new furnace to cover a part that was under warranty. Double billed me when I had the issue fixed by a competent business. Avoid.

in review of this ticket customer was billed only the initial svc call of 79 plus tax for a total of $84.53 after diagnosis of furnace, found issue with part would be covered under warranty with another company that had installed unit. we recommended he contact them.Review from Laurel W

I was scheduled to get my yearly A/C maintenance tomorrow (May 12th) and received a call today that I was being moved to mid July. The reason was extremely sketchy. I was told they had a customer with an A/C breakdown. I completely understand being moved for that but not two months out. Seems to me they are not willing to move everyone equally. I was also told since I did not buy my unit with them they would not do anything to my unit if something was wrong. I decide that as a paying customer not **********************. I have used them in the past and other family members have used them for decades. Guess that means nothing to them. I would not recommend this company given their unwillingness to work with a paying customer and their (lack of) approach to equality. It's like the Seinfeld episode..."You know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to hold the reservation"Family Heating & Cooling Inc Response

Hello ***** -We at Family apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with moving the A/C tune up call we had scheduled.Unfortunately we had to move ALL tune *** this week as well due to the extreme weather that went from 60 to 90 degrees in the course of a day.With the unprecedented record heat as early as it was we made the difficult decision to move these tune *** to put all of our manpower, and resources to other Quad Cities residents that don't have any air conditioning at all at this time.At the time we reached out to you we had moved your date to July 19th 2022 with the tune up as Free of charge service for any inconvenience you have encountered.
