      Campusview apartment student housing took ours son's deposit, then had no place for him to stay. Property staff continually kept moving the move in date back, until it was discovered there was no place for him. ************** housing inspector was called and they had to dig but found the property management company and talked with **** at Bluffstone, who told a completely different story to the city than we had been getting. Phone calls and emails go unanswered and even though Campusview has hours listed from 9-5, there is rarely anybody physically there. Move in date was to be 8/18/23. Paid deposit on 7/27/23. Today is 9/21/23 and I have sent email and left a message wanting his money back. The only reason I know of any information is my son would catch someone in the office (had to stop days every week to find somebody to talk to) and the ************** speaking to ****. I spoke with an assistant 1 time who said that the calendar had a move in date for him-on 9/1, then 9/8, then nothing available!? If we had been told this we could have had him moved in somewhere else sooner. This has been a hassle and headache.

      This was resolved.

       

      The full story is that ***** did have a lease, we were waiting for a resident to move units so we could move ***** in, the resident then refused.  ***** had paid a non-refundable Reservation *** prior to move in.  I called ***** and let him know the situation and that Campus Town had a 2 bed opening.  He and ****** both signed over there and have moved in.  I had told ***** that he will not have to pay the Res *** over at Campus Town because he paid it at ***********, but then **** emailed View and wanted that refunded.  We refunded it that day and sent in the mail.  He then had to pay the Res *** at Campus Town.  

       

      The city of Ankey did call me and we discussed it. They were understanding and said that there is nothing they would do.  Also ****** never had a lease with ***********, only ***********

       

      This is all good now as far as we have heard.  I have emailed back and forth with **** a few weeks ago.
