I had an appt with MercyOne ***************** in ********** on 8-25-22 and was contacted by phone on 8-23-22 to verify appt and was asked how I wanted to pay for the appt and gave my credit card information. I was on pain medications for a neck fracture at that time, I did not tell them to bill my insurance ****************** first and payed by credit card $548. When my husband realized what happened he tried multiple times to contact MercyOne to have it run through insurance first and get a receipt for payment made. It took several weeks to get a mailed receipt. MercyOne did submit claim to WellNet and was paid their contractual amount. We have been attempting to get a refund for $548 from MercyOne since September of 2022 and have been told by all representatives that this amount is owed to us but unable to recover the refund from MercyOne for a year. MercyOne billing was transferred to Trinity *********** Trinity is in agreement that money is owed to us, but none of the supervisors will respond to our claims. Please help.Business response
