I was receiving emails from Excel about snow removal and asked about there pricing, we had used them for lawn treatment during 2022 and 2023 and had no issues. He sent me an email on 12/14/23 which said - ****,We just wanted to reach out to you to see if you had any questions regarding our estimate? If you want us to save you a spot on our list this season just let us know. Have a great day! Sincerely,Excel Lawns & Landscape ************ I replied back with this email on 12/14/23 -****,I wanted to make sure I understood the pricing. You can either pay each time it snows and it is a different price depending on how much or you can pay the $186 a month and it will cover whatever snow falls 7 inches and below? Thank you for clarifying.********************* He replied back on 12/14/23 ****, Your close on the thought process. Your correct on the per event, you'll pay per snow event at the level of inches. 95% of our snow events are within the 7" marker which is why I send out our typical removal for that service. If an event is over 7" the breakdown of the tiered pricing is just expanded to cover the number of inches. The seasonal snow is a budget friendly option as the 186 covers up to 34" for the year. Doesn't matter if its 3" or 24" (it better not be 24", that would be a long night) it covers the cost of a typical snow year for our market.. The nice thing about the seasonal option is you don't get all of the inv's at once in January and February when it's snowing once a week. Thank you,***************************** Excel Lawns & Landscape www.ExcelLawnsandLandscape.com ************** I replied back with my understanding of what he said on 12/15/23 Hey ****,We will do the $186 for 34 inches. Thank you.********************* His reply was on 12/15/23 Sounds good, I'll get that done. Thank you,***************************** Excel Lawns & Landscape www.ExcelLawnsandLandscape.com ************** I gave him my credit card info and said ok to snow removal. On 12/16/23 my card was charged the $186.17 which I expected. On 1/1/24 I got an email with invoice #**** for $186.17, at first thought it was a copy of what I paid, checked my credit card and found another charge for this amount. Up to this point they had done no snow removal. I contacted him through email asking why I was charged another $186.17.I have contacted him several times, I told him to cancel due to not wanting anymore charges on my card. The two big snows we had in January he was a no show even though I had paid for that month already. I sent this email to him on 1/29/24 after other attempts to get a response. Here is my email -****,I am writing again concerning snow removal. This is part of the email you sent me on 12/14/23 when I was trying to understand your pricing for snow removal. I think you can clearly see how I thought the $186 covered up to 34" for the year. That $186 was the total price, not per month. So far I have been charged $372.34 for absolutely nothing, I know you said it cost money to put stakes in my yard and take pictures. I would be happy to pay for the stakes and I know pictures on a phone cost nothing. This is ridiculous. I have sent previous email with no response. As I said please cancel and since you did no work for the past 17 inches of snow I would like a refund, please.********************* ****'s response on 1/29/24 7:59 pm I'll review everything tomorrow and get back to you. Thank you,***************************** On 2/7/24 I asked again if he has had a chance to review? No response from **** On 2/16/24 I sent this email ****,It has now been over two weeks and you picked up your stakes. So have you had a chance to review? If you do try to put the money back on my card you have on file it will not work, I had a fraud transaction and had to replace it. Thank you.********************* No response from **** On 2/22/24 I sent this email - ****,Another week has gone by and no response. I have been very patient concerning this. So if I do not hear anything with the next week, I will contact the better business bureau.********************* No response from ****, although they did come and get there stakes they put in our yard. As of today 3/1/24 I have had no response from ****.If you are able to assist me with this I would appreciate it. If you have any other questions please let me know.
