I bought a 2015 ***** Trax on Nov. 18, 2023 from Toms Auto Sales. It started having problems in the first 2 weeks. The check engine light came on, it was stalling, not wanting to start and running poorly. I took the car to Midas and they replaced the Engine Control Module, air intake hose, and crank shaft position sensor. It was there between December 16 - Jan 23rd. Right away it stalled and broke down again and was then taken to *********************** in *******, ****. They then fixed the camshaft sensor. All of this auto repair work was $3308.28. On Jan. 30th, While the car was at *********************** they called to update on the repairs and stated that it had a Branded Title. This was the first anyone had mentioned this. At no point when I was buying the car was I made aware of it having a Branded Title. In fact when I bought it I sat down with ***** the salesman in the office and we looked at the carfax together. It never said anything about a branded title or even any accidents. I thought it was an accident free, clean title. I would never have purchased this car if I knew it had a branded title. I then purchased a carfax myself and it did show it was a branded title and had been in an accident previously. I called and spoke with ********************* and informed him of all my issues. I expressed my desire to keep my business with them and exchange the car in for something of equal value that I paid. In short, he is response was to give me a $1000 for all the trouble. Stated that he could give me $6000 for the car to trade in. I just paid $11300 for this car. I have the paperwork from the vehicle purchase and the Motor Vehicle Disclosure statement is signed by *************************, staff at Toms auto. It is marked that it is a regular title, no prior damage or salvage. I also have the Odometer disclosure statement that also states that the Odometer reading is accurate. It is also signed by a *************************, staff at Toms auto. The carfax shows that the mileage is not accurate on this car. I would like my money back for this car and the repair bills reimbursed. I do not want any more business with **** auto. I feel they scammed me. Showing me a misleading carfax report and then selling me a car for full price and it has a branded title.

I would give this dealership zero stars if I could. Joe ********* was the rudest and worst sales manager I have ever encountered. I asked to speak to the owner or General Manager. He said, "I am the manager for the next 10 days , because the general manager is on vacation. You got me. I questioned him about five bad reviews I saw about his dealership on the Better Business Bureau Site, because I was calling long distance. He became angry, raised his voice, beliitled me, told me, he did not need my business and buy a car from some other dealer because I did not trust him. He then cut me off while I was talking, told me to look elsewhere and abruptly hung up the phone. I was sadly disappointed and frustrated. I can't believe he is allowed to be in mgt. I called back, he kept wanting to hang up the phone. He wanted me to put a deposit down on the car to buy it, but he never sent me any paperwork on how much the car would be , fees, taxes, misc. I aasked for the service centers repair sheet when they went through it. He said the car was perfect and they did not fill one out. He again told me the truck was perfect and they never write down anything if the truck is perfect. On their ad it stated you could make an appointment for a live video walk around. When I requested that, he said the ad is old and they don't do that anymore. He told me he was going to make an exception for me and have a salemen video conference call to do that, but it never happened. I called back to see when that was going to be, but they never answered the phone. Worst of all, Joe told me how the dealership was 40 years old, family owned and people flew in from all over the US to buy cars from them for their great cars and customer service. I was sickened by the way Joe treated me as a potential customer, then he tried to pressure me by telling me people were driving the car and it probably wouldnt be there on Monday. I am not sure if the dealership is a ripoff or Joe is just horrible at his job.
