1/24/2024-I, ***********************, provided a $1000.00 deposit to purchase a 2017 GMC ****** 2500, VIN *****************, Truck from Auto Drive, INC. At that time, it was agreed upon that ************** would be down to pick up the truck in approx. 2 months due to work commitments he couldn't get to **********, IA to get the truck. March 2024, ************** informed Auto Drive, INC. that he was not going to purchase the truck due to misrepresentation of the mileage and condition of the truck. The owner of Auto Drive, Inc. refused to return the deposit, claiming his racetrack was not bringing any money in, so ************** allowed him two months to sell the truck. Per records found, Auto Drive, Inc. removed the truck from his inventory and ******** Marketplace on or about March 27, 2024. It doesn't appear that he had any intension of selling the truck or returning the deposit. All ************** wants is his deposit of $1,000.00 return.Initial Complaint

On 10-30-21 I purchased a 2018 Cadillac Escalade for $49,000 from **** the owner of Auto Drive, Inc. in **********. When he went to unload the vehicle at the ****************** the front bumper caught on the ball hitch of his transport truck which then pull the bumper up and partial off the vehicle. He was able to reattach and bend things to where it was drivable, but as soon as I left I also noticed the cruise control wasn't working when I called and shared this with him and he agreed to fix it. Turned out the sensor under the front bumper that senses how close a car is in the front of you when the cruise control is on was also damaged and the dealer couldn't get it to work even once the repairs where done. Thus the 2 separate invoices for repair. I tried for 4 months to get **** to pay and each time he says a check is in the mail. You'll see in the last email between us he agrees to send me a new check and now it's been another month. I just want him to reimburse me for what he damaged when unloading the car and I will be satisfied.
