  Long story short. We hired Gannaway construction, a.k.a., Matt ******************** to install siding on her home after the derecho. The process was a nightmare because he was never available and the crew he sent did not speak English. I do not speak Spanish and **** expected me to be communicating with them. They finished in December 2021. In 2022 are citing started coming loose and the trim work is not even tacked on correctly. They did not put drip caps above our windows or doors, hence leaving the opportunity for water to get down inside. After multiple attempts at trying to get them to repair, I had a couple people look at our siding. This made **************, and he told me if I was going to have people critique his work, I could find someone else to fix it. I contacted a contractor who has been doing siding for 35 years. He told me it would cost $7600 because all of the siding has to be taken off. Some of it was not laid the correct direction and the rest of it is all loose. We have bubbles in the siding and incorrect materials in some areas. The dormer windows were spray painted rather than ordering the correct material in the right color. They are now starting to fade which is something I expressed a concern to **** about. I do not want **** or his crew here to fix this issue because I believe they do not have the first clue on how to put siding on a home. Ours was not in line. It was not tacked appropriately and the trim work and cut outs around outlets and so forth. Were done poorly The contractor also told ** they would have to get some siding during the project. He believes probably four boxes at $200 a box. This leaves our repair job at $8400. I have never seen such a poorly done job in my entire life. I have never dealt with a contractor that was so immature and unwilling to talk in a decent manner. The few times they came to try to repair the bubbles in the siding. They were unsuccessful. I have tons of pictures, but it wouldnt let me load.
