I sold 4 ******* statue clocks at Tom Harris Auctions October 2022 sale. All 4 were sold. After contacting them because they did not send me the money, they owed me from the sale. They said that one buyer had refused to pay, so they were placing the 4th clock in the next sale. They refused to pay me for the three sold, until the last one sold. The next clock sale has happened, and they have not sent any payments. They do not answer their phone, voice mails letters or emails. Buyers and sellers should be aware of their fraudulent business practices.Initial Complaint

On November 2, 2020, our collection of clocks, watches, glass, furniture and other antiques were picked up by and consigned to Tom Harris Auctions. We entered into contract #** on that date with Tom Harris Auctions during pickup Since then, our consigned items were sold at various auctions, including liveauctioneers auctions held by Tom Harris Auctions on March *****, 2021, May *****, 2021 and October *****, 2021. We thought the last of our consigned items were sold at the May *****, 2021 auctions so after payment was not received I called July 14, 2021 and reached ******* ********************** at Tom Harris Auctions office. ******* advised that the sale of watches, most clocks, and other items had been completed but a few items still remained to be sold. ******* thought they would be sold during the August 28, 2021 auction but during our conversation Mr. ********************** told ******* the last of the consigned items, some clocks and other items would be sold at the October *****, 2021 auction. ******* advised that payment would be made about two weeks after the October ***** auction was completed. Payment was not received as advised. Since November 2021 I have made numerous calls in an attempt to receive payment for our consignment. All calls and messages have went unanswered except for two. One by ******* on November 24, 2021 who said the payment process would be started and another was returned by *** ********************** on January 10, 2022. I advised Mr. ********************** we still had not been paid. Mr. ********************** said he was out of the office until January 13, 2022 but would look into the matter then and call back. I was not called back and have been unable to reach anyone at Tom Harris Auctions since that date by phone, text or email We have not received an accounting of items sold or payment for our consignment so I am requesting contact from Tom Harris Auctions and completion of the contract process with an accurate inventory as promised
