I would like to re open a complaint we had with ******** Furniture. They told us they had fixed a chair we had bought from them that was still under warranty but on Saturday 12/30 the same chair they said they fixed broke when our grandson was sitting on it same spot that was broken that they said they fixed. We called Mcgregors on Sunday to let them know what happened and that we would like a refund on these chairs because the weld job on the legs are of poor quality and we are worried that if one of these chairs breaks and hurts someone this could be a major problem. They said all they can do is fix it or give us a discount on new chairs, we are asking that they refund us the money for the chairs, I do not want them to try to fix it again because these chairs are not safe we would like them to refund us the money for the chairs.Initial Complaint

We bought a table set from Mcgregors on 1/8/2023 by 8/21/2023 one of the legs of the chair broke off. We sent pictures to ************ at the store and he was suppose to turn it in for warranty exchange. We have since called them several times regarding the chair most times no one contacts us back then I call back and they say they will check into and get back to me but they do not. We just went into the store on 12/2/2023 and the receptionist said that she was sending an email to the president of the company and she would let me know what she found out on Monday well now it is Thursday 12/7 and again have not heard anything back from them. They also sent me a message on 9/13/2023 that our chair was in so I took the other chair into the store to exchange for the new one and was told it was not on the truck and they said that they would be in touch again no one called I had to contact them again.Business response

We have been trying to get the part from the vendor and it was backordered which is beyond everyone's control. Since the Pandemic the supply chain issues are well-known. Since this initial complaint the part has arrived and the customer has been contacted to be made aware of its arrival.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: we have not gotten any information from them stating they have the part and when we can expect to get the chair back. Not sure were they sent this message but we did not get anything.

We got the part in and it was fixed within 24 hours of receipt. My assistant manager, ******, left the customer a voicemail on Monday that it was fixed and ready to be picked up. There is nothing else we could have done to make this quicker. We have no control over when we get parts from our manufacturer, but once we had the part it was fixed immediately.Customer response
