On May 5, 2021 we purchased a Midea refrigerator, along with a range, microwave, and dishwasher. Along with this purchase we bought a service contract on the range for $149.99 and on the refrigerator for $229.99. We also kept asking for a copy of these and never received them. 8 months ago (approximately May of 2022) the icemaker quit in the Midea refrigerator. Their repairman was sent and he told us a new one would be ordered. After many phone calls which were never returned as to where we were at with this repair we made a visit to the store. We were told that we had to make the phone call to the service contract repair line as they don't do this anymore. Fine, so we did this. First of all, ***** (owner's wife) gave us the wrong company whom she thought carried the contract, learned from this company who we should really be calling. Called that company to learn there were no contracts listed with them. We were told to call Burns and Sons to have them upload the contracts that were sold. Well, after 4 more phone calls the past two months, nothing has been resolved, nor can we get them to call back. It appears as though we paid for 2 warranty contracts that were never filed, isn't that fraud? Where do we go from here? We are so angry....these people are operating illegally as far as we are concerned. Please, can you help? She tells people to "go ahead a file a claim with Small Claims Court....they don't care". Ordered an appliance package on 8/29/2020. Was told that everything would arrive before Thanksgiving 2020. We received the oven and microwave right away and the dishwasher in February 2021. We have not received the refrigerator. We are moving July 1st and I notified *** Burns that I would need to cancel the refrigerator and he said his wife would reach out about a refund. I have followed up every week and keep getting the run around with a promise to call back which never happens. Today I spoke with **** ****** wife) who said that she needed to verify with ************** that I paid off the charge and they won't return her emails. The conversation got heated and she just started screaming nonsense at me. $1,800 was charged to my Synchrony Home account (which has been paid off) and the remaining $3,997.96 was charged to my *********** Not sure what Synchrony has to do with them refunding my money.Initial Complaint

I purchased a ******* refrigerator (Model # RF28R7351SG) on November 30, 2021 from the *********, **** location. The appliance was delivered a few weeks later. When the appliance was installed the ice maker and water dispenser did not work. ***************************** sent out a technician who diagnosed the problem as being a faulty water inlet valve assembly (Part#DA97-14365L). He indicated that the part would be ordered. I have called the business multiple times since then to get an update on the status of my repair only to be told over and over that the part is on back order and they do not know when the part will be in. Today I called ******* Parts directly and was able to order the part for approximately $155. When I called Burns and Sons to ask why I could get the part and they could not, they did not have an answer. They did inform me that if I ordered the part they would be happy to install it, but would not reimburse me for the cost of the part.
