Every turn of the wheel nearly every month Green ***** messes up with my auto loan and NEVER rectifies the problem. Just blows some lame excuses every time. I WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.GreenState Credit Union Response

My boyfriend had a car loan through them and even though he had car insurance they still charged him their insurance. Even when the car has been totaled for a few years now they are still charging him insurance on a closed account. Do not trust this credit union!! They will destroy your credit and make you pay for something you already have.GreenState Credit Union Response

At GreenState Credit Union, we strive to maintain clear communication with our members and ensure that their needs are addressed appropriately. To clarify, GreenState Credit Union is required to be listed as the lienholder and loss payee on all vehicle loans to ensure the collateral is adequately protected. We make multiple attempts to contact members through various means when our records do not show adequate insurance coverage. In situations where Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) is added to a loan due to a lack of proof of insurance, we are always willing to review any additional information provided by the member. If it is proven that there was valid insurance coverage during the period in question, a refund of the CPI charges is issued. We take your feedback seriously and would like to look into this matter further to resolve any issues with the account in question. Please encourage your boyfriend to contact our Account Resolutions team directly at (800) 446-3719 with more details so we can assist him effectively. Do not work with this org!!I've had hundreds of thousands in deposits with this institution and 6 vehicle loans over the life of my membership. They do not care about your loyalty or business AT ALL.They took money from my account to cover my estranged ex's delinquent loan. They gave me no notice of this until the day of, and already were processing the transaction. Shady and poor business practices.GreenState Credit Union Response

Changed online payment availability with no notice and proceeded to charge me monthly late fees, even when my payments were on time. Now I'm being charged TWO late fees on an account that is up to date! Plus, I noticed they tried to take an extra payment on my vehicle loan from an external account I do NOT make transfers from. The extra "payment" was returned and is now accumulating return fees. Unacceptable and manipulative banking practices. NEVER trust a Midwest credit union!!!GreenState Credit Union Response

They put a ********* Dollar lien on my truck saying I didn't have insurance. I told them I wasn't making a payment until the lien was taken off as I have never had a lapse in insurance. I had ****************** send in verification of insurance proving no lapse. Once lien of ********* was taken off I made my payments up to date and continued making my payments never missing one. They are now claiming I missed payments for two months, even though I paid them in full as soon as they took the lien that wasn't supposed to even be on my truck off of the loan. Horrible bank to work with, would never suggest getting a loan through them. They will just get you for every ***** that they can.GreenState Credit Union Response

Green ***** Credit Union has the worst customer service tried to pay them off gave us a 10 day pay off and then 4 hours later when they already had the check come back to tell us that we needed to have another $584...They think it is all right to talk to you rude and so you give it back and they get mad...They also gave confidential information of my account to my husband which is not on the loan and then they lie about it I am thinking of calling the Credit Union Board and let them know this...Heard from other banks that they are having assets issues and they wrote loans for a certain interest rate and then change it without telling customers they are so out of compliance and I would love to see them be fined for all of everything because they think that they are the best and they are not they are the worst of the worst...They charge $25.00 to make a payment over the phone but they want you to pay...GreenState Credit Union Response

this is an institution that prioritizes collecting fees from low-income clients, holding onto their paychecks & transfers for as long as legally possible, and not providing convenient atms so that their 3.50$ transaction fee kicks in. avoid greenstate cu if possible is my advice!GreenState Credit Union Response

Someone charged over $900 on my mom's credit card. Not only did GreenState find against her in the fraud investigation, they also accused her, on the phone, of committing the fraud herself. All this while she was in the hospital recovering from major surgery. My 76 year old mom, who has been their customer for 40 years. They are truly the worst bank. It's nearly unbelievable, except it happened to her. We had to call the police (who said that most banks will tell defrauded customers to file a police report when something like this happens. GreenState did not advise her to do this, but I'm advising you to do this in case this ever happens to you.) DO NOT BANK HERE. Clearly their security is bad and you stand a good chance of losing your money.GreenState Credit Union Response
