A motorhome appeared on marketplace for sale. I messaged the seller to view the motorhome. They were closed since it was a Sunday, but the owner, ***** Bowling, agreed to meet us at the dealership. We were in *************** visiting our daughter and ******* was on our way home.We test drove the motorhome and said we were interested, but needed to check financing the next day. He asked us to leave a $1,000 deposit to take the motorhome off the market. He also asked us to back date the check and the credit application to the 19th since it was illegal to conduct business on a Sunday. On Monday, I contacted *** in the ****************** and asked him for estimates with sales tax, license fees and extended warranty costs. I also asked him to not run our credit as I didn't want my credit to have multiple inquiries on it. We also were debating on trading in a 2020 Grey Hawk 27rr toy hauler. On Tuesday they cashed our deposit check. When I asked them why they cashed the check, his response was to hold the unit. Even though we hadn't actually agreed to any purchase or signed any documents to purchase or regarding any deposit. On Thursday, his son texted asking us what we were going to do. They needed an answer that day as they had two other people interested in the motorhome. I responded and told them to go ahead and sell it to someone else. They refuse to give our deposit back! Please assist us with this issue. Thank you, in advance, for your assistance in this matter.

My son had spoken to this customer and he was out of town and he asked me to go and help them. Which, I did. It was on my day off and I had just had Achilles Surgery. I was limping in a boot on a 105 degree day, but I still went to help the customers.
I was there with them for about 3-3.5 hours. They did give me a deposit and said they were just trying to decide if they were trading their travel trailer in or keeping it and selling on their own. They also gave me a credit application and copies of their drivers licenses and all their information. They also asked that we dont run their credit information because they wanted to check with their own bank. Which we did per their request.
I absolutely did everything I could do to accommodate these customers. I feel like I went above and beyond to help them. Never did they ever say that they were not purchasing this unit until days later.
Our policy is and has been that deposits are non refundable. I will be more than happy to give these customers an in store credit for their money. They can use it for any products or services we offer.

We bought a rv from Bowling RV. 1ST TIME WE USED IT HAD multiple problems but the main was the hot water heater didn't work right and caused damage to the unit. Called **** Bowling he had some one pick up the camper and drive it back to Bowling. They had it over a month. Said it was fixed drove it back to us. We went camping again. Again same problem. Called **** he agreed to let us take it to an rv dealer close to us. They found that nothing had been done to heater as we were told. **** agreed to pay for repairs since it had to be replaced with the owner of Coulier valley rv. They did the work now **** is refusing to pay the price they charged. It's been done over a week. We can't afford to pay it. **** agreed with us and Coulier valley. **** JUST KEEPS COMING UP WITH EXCUSES. WE WANT IT PAID OR FOR THEM TO TAKE IT BACK AND RETURN ALL OF OUR cash down, payments made, clear us of the loan.

************************ bought a used 2010 RV from us. We sold it to him $5,000 back of retail book because it did have some wear. We went through the unit and check everything out and got everything ready. The Schumachers personally inspected the unit before signing any paperwork themselves. They were good with everything on the unit and did an hour walk through to see how everything worked. When they got home, a couple days later they found some water rot, which we do not cover and it is up to the digression of the customer to look the coach over before they pay for it. ***** called and has screamed and cussed half of our dealership out. I agreed to come up and get the rv three hours away and bring it back down here. We did, spent over $2,500 fixing the issues and then personally brought it back to him after multiple verbal lashings about timing because our drivers were busy. When the rv arrived back to *****, he complained because there was only half a tank of gas in it. I goodwilled ***** a check for $150 for fuel. Weeks later ***** calls me screaming at me saying his hot water heater was malfunctioning. I told him to take it to a local dealer and we will take care of the hot water heater even though he was out of 30 day warranty. He screamed at my service advisor *** until he had her in tears. I talked to **************** where the coach was and they told me it needed a new hot water heater and it was  going to be around $850, I told them to go ahead and fix it and we will pay out of our own pocket. I get the **** from ************* a week later and the **** is $1350. ************* told me that ******************************* had them fix a bunch of other things that did not pertain to the hot water heater. I called ***** and told him we agreed to fix the hot water heater and that was it, it is not my rv, its his. He once again blew up threatening sending you guys a letter and threatening lawyers. I went ahead and took care of the hot water heater **** with ************* out of goodwill because our word is good. This customer is not reasonable and has made multiple threats to us and our employees. There is no return policy here. We have done everything we can to take care of the ************.
