Roofing contractor got the check from the insurance saying that he has completed everything but downspouts and window screens are not yet replaced. We asked the contractor multiple times but he says those are not covered by insurance. We got a written(email) confirmation from our insurance that Window screens and downspouts are covered. Also, the contractor went door to door knocking and used my name as reference without my consent. When asked he denied that as well. He is being very rude and did not give me the itemized statement that I requested him many times with details like what was replaced, what materials used, how much each item costed. He just sent us the invoice copy.Business response

I have reviewed the information and the customer is correct. The insurance did provide for the downspouts and some screens. The salesmans cellphone was out of service when the customer was trying to contact the salesman. We would like the customer to contact the office directly going forward. The office number is ************. We would like to schedule for the work to be done but customers states we are no to contact them. When we can contact the customer. We will schedule the work. The roof can be inspected with the homeowner present if they like. We do have a two year workmanship warranty on all of our trade work.Customer response
