              I bought a Transfer Master bed in 2017... The bed was not cheap... $5,332.00 I chose this bed because it has the Reverse Trendelenburg position as a feature.Ive had 2 parts go out since... One was the box that controls the motors... which was quite expensive... upper $700s if I am remembering right.Now the wireless remote has gone out. They wanted approx $480 to replace that. A tiny hand held remote is going to cost near 10% of the entire cost of the bed ?This seems like a good bed... but if its so durable as the company claims, why did 2 parts (1 a very major one) go out so soon? Luckily I still have the wired hand control to reposition the bed.If the price of the wireless hand held control was more reasonable, Id have purchased a new one. My main complaint is that it seems Transfer Master is gouging customers for replacement parts.

              We are glad the customer had the bed for 5 years and had not had to replace anything till now. We have had customers replace parts after a year. Unfortunately we are unable to determine when a part is going to go out or goes out. We try our best to make sure the customer is satisfied and able to get there bed to work properly for them. We offer many types of hand controls for our beds with different pricing. Unfortunate the hand control they are looking for is the only wireless hand control we offer for the customers type of bed. We are very pleased that he as another hand control that he can use to operate his bed.
