I have used ****** garage door in the past for service, that is who I thought I was calling the day I googled their #. Apparently siouxland garage door had manipulated their website, which I know several other people have made complaints. Siouxland garage door came out to my house, Overcharged me for an emergency service that they say they were there for 2 plus hours, when I have a ring camera and house cameras on my house proving they weren't even at my house for an hour. Then they bill me the garage door that I need for just under $3000, but refuse to break down in an invoice what costs $3000. I then called the owner in which I recorded the call and all he does is threatens to take a lean out against my house and gonna take me for what he can and absolutely refuses to again break down the invoice of $3000. When asked about the high emergency cost and that they weren't here for the time put on the receipt he gets very defensive. I simply explained to Siouxland garage door, I did not want the garage door, I would like a refund. They absolutely refuse and now I have a three thousand dollar charge on my credit card and no garage door. I never wanted to use this company, they manipulated the website for ****** garage door. I know there are several other complaints. I should never have signed the receipts. I'm a nurse, was out working at locations, busy with patients, was flustered and they took advantage of it. Please help.

On 5/24/2024, ************************* called our company, Siouxland Garage Door, In a panic wanting service as soon as possible as she hit her garage door. She expressed she was afraid that someone would be able to break into her home if the door was left in the condition it was in. ****************** did ask if we were ****** Garage Door, our office replied "No, We are Siouxland Garage Door. We do garage door repairs and would be happy to help you with your garage door repair needs." (Which is on a recorded line.) She knew we were not ****** Garage Door, She was just wanting someone to come out the same day to get the door repaired. We stated that we could rearrange our schedule and come out on an emergency call to get her taken care of. She was extremely grateful that we were able to get her an emergency call the same day. When our technician got there he determined that the door was going to need to be replaced, and did a temporary repair until the special order door she ordered arrived. After ****************** placed the order for her special order door and we did the emergency temporary repair to the existing door, She called our office and expressed great gratitude to our service manager for the fast response, great service, and great customer service. She was thrilled and happy with the experience with our company. After a couple of days, her spouse/significant other called our office complaining about the price of the new door that ****************** ordered and claimed that we took advantage of ******************. Which was not the case at all, we politely told him that ****************** called our company and expressed great gratitude for our services before and after the services were rendered. This consumer has already disputed her credit/debit card in the amount of $2952.90, which is the only amount that she was charged. As a customer courtesy, we did not charge her for the emergency service call/repair as she was ordering the new door with our company. We expressed to ****************** that in the event she did not want to go with the order for a new door, she would have to pay for the emergency service call in the amount of $335.58. She signed both of the invoices agreeing to those terms. We have authorized and accepted a refund in the amount of $2617.32 with the dispute through ***** Fargo which is the amount she paid minus what ****************** owed for the emergency service call. Per Siouxland Garage Door policy, we do not issue refunds on ANY special orders, but as a customer courtesy, we are willing to only charge for the services that were rendered at this customer's home for $335.58. This dispute is still pending as we responded to this dispute through ***** Fargo but have not received a response back yet on this matter. The balance of $335.58 is still outstanding and needs to be paid as the work has already been rendered. We also will not be charging the customer for any restocking fees, or a 15% cancellation fee, per our policy on any canceled orders/special orders, which is stated at the bottom of the invoice that ****************** signed. Attached will be an invoice showing the services that were rendered with the customers signature that states all of the above. Also attached will be the dispute from ***** Fargo to show that this customer has disputed the charges in the amount of $2958.90 and has received the full amount back to her bank. Any other claims regarding this service call is erroneous and unfounded.

      Sincerely,

      Management

On September 3, 2023, I contacted Budget Garage ************ a.k.a. Siouxland Garage ************ about fixing my broken garage door opener. It was a week-end and they stated that they don't have an extra cost for working on the week-end. They were available to come to my home and repair it the same day so it seemed like a wonderful service. The man arrived and did the work and told me the price, which seemed exorbitant but he stated that the prices have increased. So, based on the fact I had to have it fixed, and thinking because their name is "Budget" Garage Door and he seemed nice, that they wouldn't be robbing me blind. Upon researching the price of the door opener online, I discovered that the price they charged was 8 times higher than the actual cost of the item itself. I subsequently contacted the owner to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the amount I was charged ( I even spoke with a co-worker whose friend works for another garage door company and said he company would have only charged $200 but I was charge over $800. ) and he stated that he is competive with other companies. I stated that it was very poor business practice to claim that you don't have extra fees for week-ends but in actuality charge 4 times what other companies charge during regular business hours. And that even the company name "Budget" Garage Doors gives a deceptive impression of being less expensive than others. He then offered to send me a new bill with a refund. I waited several weeks and there was no response so I contacted him again and I believe promised to refund it 2 more times before I actually received only a $100 credit.I told him that his business practices were deceptive altogether and that he should be charging "everyone" reasonable prices as opposed to gauging them unknowingly. Especially on week-ends they offer supposed "no extra cost" service. This is a completely deceptive practice based on their prices being 4 times as much as competitors.

We have no extra charges on the weekend versus standard charges during the week as most other companies do. This customer called us out on the weekend and we provided regular service for a new operator installed at the same price installed during the week.  ***** services were rendered **************** went price shopping on the internet looking for wholesale cost for the products she received. Consumers should always price check prior to hiring the service companies.  Her findings do not include any service call, labor, warranties, travel charges, or weekend rates which most companies charge.  We are required to treat all customers the same, which is what we do in the *************.  We gave this customer good product, good service and good warranty at a fair price, furthermore, we sent her a customer service ********************** to satisfy her of $100 after the fact of her complaint.  Unfortunately, we feel this customer is looking to take advantage of a company to get something for tree.  No matter where **************** would have price shopped for the same product (weekend service) same warranty, it would have been at least 25% higher.  There will be no other discounts given to this customer.  All other comments received in the complaint are completely erroneous and unfounded.

Siouxland garage door was contacted on approximately 7-13-23 for a quote. I was quoted a tune up special for $40, no extra. On 07-15-23 Siouxland garage door arrived to do tune up. During the visit the tech tightened 2 cables, 2 springs and replaced 2 pulleys. The tech then handed me a bill for $269, I said that's not what I was told it would cost. He said he messed it up then wrote up a new bill for $309. This was a classic bait/switch move. I was charged the 40 tune up fee, 129 for parts, which cost 12 at menards, and 120 labor. I have spoke to 2 other companies that said I was way overcharged. I asked the receptionist to review my bill, she did and said it was correct while being extremely rude. I was overcharged! I also see from the BBB website, this company is very common for this.

      To whom it may concern,

************** called our company after hours on Friday July 14, 2023 wanting service on our garage door. We set up a service appointment for Saturday July 15th, 2023 for **** AM. ************** arrived and assessed the door and told the customer that the pullies on the door were bad and they needed to be fixed to get his door in safe and operational condition. The customer agreed to have the work done. The customer had a question about his bill after the technician left thinking that the technician had added up the bill wrong, our office staff called him on Monday July 17th, 2023 to go over the bill with him to ensure everything was correct, it was. We ensure our staff was not rude at all to ****************, We simply explained that the bill was added correctly. **************** stated that he could've gotten the parts on Amazon for $8 each, we explained to him that we do not get our parts off of Amazon and prices on Amazon did not include a service company to come out and repair the door. In this complaint he's stating he can get the parts at Menards, We also do not get our products from Menards and Menards prices are not installed prices. We waived the service call ($79 value) on Mr. ************************* as a customer courtesy and did not charge him any extra for weekend/after hour repairs like every other company does in the area, which saved him hundreds of dollars. We attached his invoice for reference. **************** was not overcharged at all and was given a great discount. There are no other discounts that we can give for this customer, they were given all the *********************** available.

Siouxland Garage Door is making false statements. According to my phone records, I contacted Siouxland Gararge Door on 7-14-23, no one answered, ***** returned my call shortly afterwards around 3:30pm. According to their hours they are open until 8pm, so how did I call after hours? When I explained my issues in detail on the phone, ***** told me I would only be charged the $39.95 tune up fee. The technician arrived on 7-15-23, tightened 2 cables and replace 2 small pulleys, the gave me a bill for $189. I told the technician I was told by ***** that I would only be charged $39.95. The tech then said the bill was incorrect and wrote up a new one for $309. I called and spoke to ***** the following Monday. I told asked her to review my bill because I was overcharged. When ***** called me back she said the bill was correct. I told her the same pulleys they charged me $129 for are $12 at menards, I never once brought up Amazon! ***** became argumentative and said menards are plastic pulleys, i replied they were the same metal ones her tech installed. I also told ***** that ****** garage door quoted me $400 out the door to install a complete new sping setup, she told me she found that hard to believe and i was incorrect. ***** had also told me originally on the phone there would be no service fee whatsoever, only $39.95 tune up fee. Yet i was charged the $39.95 tune up fee, $125 labor and $129 for 2 pulleys. Siouxland Garage Door has multiple complaints for these same issues, bait and switch, which needs to be stopped! ***** also told me on the phone that saturdays are not an extra fee as they are normal working days for the company. There were no discounts given like ***** is stating, only ridiculous upcharges! I have spoke to 2 other local garage door companys who both stated they would have charged half of what Siouxland Garage Door and only $30 for the pulleys that they charged me $129 for.

      Sincerely,

      To whom it may concern,

Originally when this customer booked his appointment, he did in fact book on the tune up special ($39.95). He had mentioned that his door was having an issue and I (*****) did tell him before hand that a tune up was not going to fix his door but it would be a cheaper way of getting a tech out there to look at his door. (customers are not forced to get repairs done, he could of just got the tune up done if he didn't want the parts replaced) He stated that he only rented his home and the landlord would be reimbursing him for the repair so I (*****) was trying to save him as much money as possible. A tune up includes: tightening all nuts and bolts and lubrication of the door and opener. It does not include any repairs or replacements of parts. He did mention Amazon prices to me (*****) over the phone when he was discussing the prices of parts because he was upset about the price of the bill. I told him I would have to call him back on Monday because I did not have his bill in front of me and wanted to make sure everything was correct, It was. We do not price match competitor pricing, they do not provide the same service, same products, or the same warranties. The work was rendered, the customer's door is in safe, operational condition, and the bill is accurate. The customer did get a ********************** considering he didn't get charged our normal travel/service fee of $79 plus parts and labor. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do after the services are already rendered and completed. We also can not price match Menards prices, they are not the same products and are not installed prices by a service company. We recommend if a customer wants to price shop/ compare services, they do so before the work is completed. Unfortunately there are no other discounts we can give this customer, they have received all the *********************** available for the services they authorized to have done. We have set prices and charge every customer the same. **************** was not overcharged. He was charged accordingly for the repairs he authorized the technician to do, per the signature at the bottom of the invoice. I attached the invoice to this complaint for reference that the charges are correct and that he signed the invoice after the repairs were done and he paid the technician and he was completely satisfied with the services.

Note to add: This customer is the renter of the home and the home owner (landlord) reimbursed this customer (the tenant) for this repair.

I phoned Siouxland Garage Door on Sunday the 23rd as we had one broken spring on the garage door. The receptionist stated that they would send someone out first thing Monday morning. On Monday the 2 techs arrived and I showed them that the spring was broke on the right side. They said not a problem and they would get it fixed. I work from home. I was home while the repair was taking place. I got a knock on my door about an hour after they arrived and handed me the bill. They had the bill written for $842.09. They said they replaced both springs the end bearings and they gave me a free tune up and fixed my opener. I said I did not agree to the extra things that they charged me for and this is way to high. I would have got a second opinion on this. They said the work is done and I needed to pay the amount. I gave my credit card to them as I dont have that kind of money in my checking. I then phoned the office and stated I did not agree to the added services they did any charged the lady was talking over me and yelling at me. She said this is done and there is nothing I can do. I then get a call from the owner. He said that he can reimburse me for 120 if I ****** and give them a 5 star review and that is all he can do. I said I didnt agree to the services I would of got another quote from the previous place I used at my old house as this house is only 4 years old. He stated that is all that can be done and we hung up. I called Days garage door and they gave me a quote of 380 total for the service call and to replace the springs. They said that the end bearings would not be replaced on a newer house. I was charged for services on my home I did not agree to and was not informed of prior to completing. They said I have a 5 year warranty through them for all the work they did without my permission or my husbands. I dont want a warranty through them as I dont trust them to come to my home and provide a service.

      To whom it may concern,

***************** called our office after hours at 7:45pm on Sunday evening of July 23rd, 2023 wanting service on her garage door. She stated she had a broken spring and needed service as soon as possible. Our staff booked the appointment and our company provided that service the very next day at 8am. When the technicians got to the ******** home, they noticed that not only was the spring broken, the end bearings were also bad/broken. They discussed this with the customer (*****************) and she told them to do what needed to be done to get the door repaired and in working condition and then went back inside until the work was completed. Therefore, authorizing the work to be done.  The technicians took care of any and all damaged parts recommended to make the door safe and functional. They were there for an hour in total. The customer was given multiple separate *********************** for services rendered as a courtesy, which were: a free service call ($79 value), $40 off of parts, and was only charged 1 hours labor for 1 technician when there were 2 technicians at her home ($120 value), they fixed and reprogrammed the opener and for no charge ($120 value), and they also did a free tune up on the door that tightens all the nuts and bolts and lubrication of the door and opener ($39.95 value). Totaling $398.95 in discounts. The door and opener ran perfectly and safely after the repairs were completed. ***************** was completely satisfied with the technicians and all services per signature at the bottom of the invoice. ***************** never expressed any dissatisfaction with the services or with the pricing with technicians while they were there,  After all of the services were rendered and the technicians left, ***************** proceeded to call varies different companies looking for discounts, coupons, and similar type services for less. She called our office staff after she was done calling other various companies, wanting our company to price match other companies prices. We simply declined stating that we do not price match other companies prices as they do not offer the same product, same services, or the same warranties. Our office staff politely told ***************** that we were not able to offer any other discounts as we had already given her the maximum discounts available for the service she authorized to have done. We recommend if a customer wants to price shop for repairs or services, that they do it before the work is already rendered. Unfortunately doing it after the work is already completed there is not much we can do other than give them the discounts we have available and offer them the same services and discounts as every customer we provide our services to. We appreciate ********************* business, she is under 5yrs of warranty with the product she authorized and willingly purchased and will stand behind that warranty going forward. We strive to be the best company, with better product, better service & better warranties. We find her claims erroneous and unfounded.

I am rejecting this response because:
I did not authorize added services to my home. You need to have permission from the homeowner. I was not given the option to get a second opinion as I would never agreed to the price nor service. My house is a new build. 4 years old, the end bearings did not need replaced. I do not feel comfortable with completing services that I am not aware of. It is not legal. I have the right to get a second opinion before you complete a job without my knowledge of other servicing. You scam homeowners and it needs to stop. The bill was charged $75 for travel, your office is not even 8min from my house. You charged tax on top of that. You added end bearings that did not need replaced and did not notify me of this. You charged $189.00 at the top of the bill and at the bottom it has $199.00 plus tax. Very unprofessional. I would not trust any technician coming to my home again. The garage was not fixed. The sound it makes opening and closing now is concerning. I have to have another tech come to my house to check the noise it is making now.

      Sincerely,

      *************************

      Business response

      07/28/2023

      To whom it may concern,
All work performed at the ****** residence was authorized prior to the homeowner going back into the home. ***************** (the homeowner) asked the technicians to fix the parts that needed to be fixed to get the door in working condition. The technicians showed the homeowner the broken parts and explained everything to the homeowner prior to her going back in the home. There was complete knowledge of the service before and after the services were rendered. We charge all customers the same, no matter the mileage to and from the job. Its a standard service fee for our service company to come to the home ($79). As we broke down in the first response to this claim, this customer was not charged the service fee. (She received $398.95 in discounts in total) There were no dissatisfaction claims until after the services were rendered, the technicians were already gone and after she called various other companies to get other quotes. We respectfully expressed to this customer that we did not price match other companies' prices as they do not provide the same product, same services or the same warranties. If this customer wanted a second opinion, she could have expressed that before our technicians did any work, we would have charged her for the travel fee and left.  She never expressed she wanted to have a second opinion, just that she wanted the technicians to fix what needed to be fixed and authorized them to start repairing the garage door. Price shopping should be done before she hiring a company to do the services. We have done everything in our power as far as giving this customer the best deals and *********************** available for the work she authorized to have done. The garage door was in safe and in complete working condition when our technicians left the home. If ***************** were to have called us to come back out for any "noises" the garage door was making after our services at her home, there would have been no charge to do so as she is covered under the warranty she purchased. Having another company come out to fix our product/services will void the warranty as we cannot warranty the work of another company. If ***************** is having another company come out and wants to completely void her warranty and be completely satisfied with this response, we can offer an additional $99 discount to discontinue the warranty with our company. If the customer chooses to be satisfied with this response and wants the additional $99 discount to void the warranty with our company, we will refund the original payment method used. We will attach the invoice with this response to show the discounts this customer has already received, and to show the services she authorized and was satisfied with per the signature at the bottom of the invoice.

Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the service our family received from Siouxland garage door on March 16, 2023. After discovering that one of our garage doors was malfunctioning (when we closed the door, it bumped back open ), my husband called Siouxland garage door for a technician to come and assess the problem. The technician arrived promptly and he determined that one of the parts needed to be replaced. Without disclosing the cost of the replacement part, the technician proceeded to suggest replacing another part, which was not broken. Additionally, he suggested to provide maintenance for the other, perfectly functional garage door, without giving us a price quote. After completing the work, the technician presented us with a bill for $977.56, which was exorbitant compared to the bills we have received from other companies in the past. The technician never disclosed any the charges beforehand. We trusted that he was being honest and had our best interests at heart, but the final bill of almost $1000 was a shock to us. We have worked with other garage door companies in the past, and their bills have always been around $300. It is clear to us that the technician tricked us at every step and influenced us into to services that we did not need and overcharged us for the work done.Furthermore, the technician solicited good comments from my husband before presenting the bill, which we consider to be an unethical way of inflating customer reviews. after my husband realized that he was ripped off, he asked the technician to wait until he consulted with me, who was in a Zoom meeting in the house at the time. To make matters worse, the technician demanded immediate payment and threatened to charge us for every hour of waiting time as working hours. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional, my husband felt extremely pressured and coerced into signing the invoice form and made it clear that he would not do business with this technician. My husband is a devoted ********* who believes in turning the other cheek, but even he felt that he was being taken advantage of. Upon examining the invoice, we discovered that the necessary charge for the broken part was only $150.20, probably plus the cables or brackets, for the most $300. The second part of $150.20 and the safety spring rewind of the second door of $249 were unnecessary and a complete rip-off. We feel that we were taken advantage of and have been left with a bill that is significantly higher than what we believed. As honest and responsible citizens, we paid the bill in full right away, even though we are deeply dissatisfied with the treatment we received. We were not given the opportunity to make an informed decision about the cost of the service. We hope that the Better Business Bureau can intervene in this matter and help us find a resolution to this issue. We believe that customers have the right to know the price of a service and to make informed decisions about whether to proceed with the service or not. We hope that Siouxland garage door will take this complaint seriously and take steps to ensure that this does not happen to other customers in the future. We are requesting a refund of half the bill of $488.78, as well as an apology for the financial loss and mental stress that this experience has caused us. I have attached a copy of the invoice with this letter. Please let me know if you require any further information from me to resolve this matter.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

In the customers first complaint with the BBB, she stated that it was just a sensor that was wrong, which is not true. Every company has different prices, different product, and different warranties. Our service manager has made contact with ********** to try and give further discounts to satisfy and resolve this complaint, but she refused to resolve the complaint with him even though she was not apart of the initial booking or services preformed(She was not home at the time of the services). We sent ************** out to repair the door, he discussed the repair with **************** before any work was preformed and he approved the repair and parts. As a customer courtesy, we waived our standard service call and labor charge plus gave 20% off of some of the parts and gave 2 tune-up's for completely free ($80 value) because they were having to get a lot of repairs done at once. Our company and our technicians go above and beyond for our customers. **************** was so satisfied with the technicians work that he asked ************** to also repair the other door while he was there, which my technician did. **************** was completely satisfied with all services that were rendered that he gave our company a 5 star review on ******* For ********** to make any statements in disrespect for her husband/significant other being taken advantage of or threatened, or any other comments is completely erroneous and unfounded. We would recommend she no longer has him be responsible for ordering any services be preformed at the home if this is how she truly feels about her husband/significant other's competence. This dispute seems to be between the two of them since we were given all the permissions by **************** to do the work that was necessary to get their door in working and safe condition. Our service manager is still offering further discounts as discussed over the phone with ********** which is an additional $100 off the bill and another 2 free tune-*** within the next 2 years.  if ********** declines these discounts our company will not offer any other discounts for services were rendered and approved by *****************

      Complaint: 19617104

We regret to inform you that we cannot accept the offer from Siouxland garage door due to their failure to address the four major issues that occurred during our service with them and show no intention to fix them.

The primary concern is the lack of price transparency, which could lead to future negative experiences for other customers. We understand that ************* has different prices, different product, and different warranties. But each company needs to disclose this so called different prices, different product, and different warranties  to the customers.  Customers have the right to be informed of service prices and make informed decisions about proceeding with the service.

The second issue is that the technician manipulated the customer into accepting unnecessary service. The technician's intentions were to take advantage of the customer rather than acting in their best interests. Our familys collective analysis corroborates this observation. In Siouxland Garage Door's response to BBB, the attempt to discredit the claim by impugning the customer's intelligence and/or the customers family internal communication dynamics demonstrated the intention in concealing the truth. As the matter of fact, the first sentence my husband told me after the service was We got ripped off!

The third issue is the technician's unacceptable behavior of demanding immediate payment (for a large bill of around $1,000) and threatening to charge for waiting time as working hours.

The fourth issue is the technician's unethical practice of soliciting positive comments before presenting the bill, which inflates customer reviews. In reality, my husband was so dissatisfied with the bill that he has made it clear to the technician on the spot that he would not do business with Siouxland garage door again. How would one have interpreted this as being satisfied? Allowing Siouxland garage door to continue this review soliciting strategy would compromise the trustworthiness of the customer review system.

********************************************* door's response did not express any regret or apology for these issues, but rather denied, defended, and justified their wrongdoing. When we made the complaint, we thought that it was an individual technicians unprofessional action. Upon review Siouxland garage door's response, we have come to the realization that the action is a standard and representative procedure of the business, which has only increased our concerns about their overall practices.

      Sincerely,

      *************

(P.S. the sensor hypothesis was not included in this compliant).

      To whom it may concern:

************** went in and did a regular service for this customer, very simply told the customer what needed to be done and the customer accepted.  Like any other service business, we charge by the hour and  do not know what we will run into.  After providing the service that the customer requested, he then asked for more services which was rendered.  As stated before, you can see that there was no problem with the service by the homeowner, which accepted this service and was completely satisfied until ********** became involved after the fact.  There was never any threat or coercion to the customer, just a simple note that we were on the clock, which the additional time and travel was waived as a courtesy to the customer.  Please note the customer's signature at the bottom of the invoice, and ****** review that were both given very well explain what the amounts that were charged and what was due before signing.  We have tried to go out of our way to satisfy this customer for future business.

      Thank you

Classic Bait and Switch - isn't this illegal? I've thought long and hard about leaving a review as I know the owner and would have thought his company was more honest and trustworthy. My door needed an adjustment (wouldn't go down all of the way) and after seeing their ads online, decided to call them. This was at the top of their page (and still is today):Save $40 On Garage Door ************************** Call With **************** Mention this ad It was a Friday afternoon and very cold (12/16/22). My usual choice (Overhead Door) couldn't come that same day so based on a "FREE" service call and $40 savings, I went with SGD. Their technician showed up, worked for about 15 minutes, and then tried to say the opener was making a terrible racket and was on its last legs. Kept pressuring me into buying a new one on the spot. $600 but a special today - now $500 ?? When I said no 3 times, he gave me a bill for $169. No free service call - I was charged $79. No $40 off a paid service. When I asked about this, the technician said it was only good if I went with a new $600 opener. Again he argued that I should just go ahead and have him put it in. And to top it off, I got a phone call from ***** later that evening telling me my garage door opener was "on its last legs" and that if I scheduled this repair today, their manager would allow a $100 discount. In the end, I paid their ridiculous invoice for 15 minutes of work. The ad on their website still says "FREE" service call with any paid service and $40 savings on garage door repairs. If their advertisement was truthful, I would have paid $39 instead of $158.The service was done on 12/16/22 No invoice number. No mention on invoice of any repair that was done. No parts necessary.

Our company still offers a free service call with any "paid" repair and we will honor the free service call as a courtesy for this customer.  Normally, the coupon is presented upon arrival to **************.  We do have to charge labor, due to the liability of touching the door.  ************** thoroughly checked over the door and opener and determined that the opener does need replacing and the customer would continue to have problems with this opener.   We will also honor the discount offered on the opener if the customer is still interested.  We take pride in our services and stand behind our work.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory as long as they issue a refund by check to me in the amount of $119.
