I accepted a bid for concrete work and gave them a 50% down payment of $2,250.00 on September 27th, The first promise date for construction was Oct. 25th. Due to extenuating circumstances the date was changed. However after trying to contact Ray Carter several times, he finally replied that they would get me a new date. Well, I never got a new date and was put on the schedule for spring. On December 26th I requested to be removed from his list and asked for a refund of my deposit. He said yes ma'am and per contract law I should receive my deposit check within 30 days. As of today, February 2, I have not received my deposit refund. I will be filing with the small claims court soon. Attached are conversations I have had via ******** Messenger and text.
