I was sent to this business by my eye ******* ************** of ********** ****. Services were performed I was asked to pay ***** for the eye service which was paid in cash which has been acknowledged. *********** that was performed for my Dr. *** unsatisfactory and this business said the machine was broken. No new Services were performed by the business and they have since sent a bill for ***** saying this was delinquent of an outstanding balance of the service for *****. I informed them that I would not pay the ***** because the services performed were wrong due to the broken machine and unacceptable by my doctor. ****** that this flawed test was performed was unacceptable I'm not going to pay the remaining balance. They agreed over the phone but have now since sent a bill 2x.Business response

The 1st time that our billing department or management are hearing about this issue is from your letter. So, we apologize if this issue did not get forwarded to the correct department from the beginning. In regards to the test performed, there was much confusion as to why your doctor referred you to us. When we called that location, they could not tell us what test needed to be performed, so the doctors ended up speaking with each other. We performed the type of test that is available on our testing equipment and sent those results to *******************. When the reason for your visit was initially established it was entered as a refraction and then was later coded and billed as per the test performed, That is why there was a difference in amount due. At this time, we have made a billing adjustment for the amount due and are sorry for the inconvenience- that was not our intention.
