This is the worst company for the interlock device. ******** service they give u false information. My battery was dead daily. They kept telling me to jump it. It was dead. I had a bran new batterie put in and the device kept draining the battery. I switched companies and it was the best decision. *** said it isn't a good company. I cannot believe they are in business! I experienced rude customer service, overcharges, faulty shipping, faulty installation, lost work wages. I suggested a new unit be sent but NO was the response for the whole year. I have filed a small claims in court although I hear they prefer arbitration. I NEVER received a copy of my lease in violation of my consumer rights. I am also referring this matter to WI *** I will recover damages thru my retained lawyer.Review from Reanna M

My equipment stopped working Saturday August 24th, I called intoxalock customer service and was assured there was no service centers open on Saturdays. Grease Monkey is open on Saturdays, also per Idaho code all manufacturers of interlock devices are required to repair or replace equipment within 48 hours of complaint. My car was towed to automotive springs and overloads Monday August 26th, where they took 7 hours to "fix" my interlock. I was told it was "okay to drive" I found out the next day that the system was "bypassed". In other words, you representative preformed circumvention on my vehicle which is a criminal office. Every interlock manufacturer and their representatives are required to follow Idaho code. Not only did the service center assure me that my vehicle was legal to drive, the customer service department also assured me it was legal. It was only after I spoke with the ********************************** I found out it was not legal. I returned the vehicle back to the service center. My equipment (new interlock device) was then sent to another service center which is not licensed to preform maintenance on an interlock system. Per idaho code manufacturers are to have list of all service centers on hand and able to provide them with customers. I have told the customer service department several time thats **** desiel and auto doesn't not fix interlocks, only calibrates them, and my vehicle was at Automotive springs and overloads. They should know where my vehicle is located, given they had it towed here and sent over a work order here. My interlock device sat at incorrect center from 11am August 28th until 12pm August 29 and I didn't know until I called and asked where my interlock device was at. Then I had to have it driven my my mother to automotive springs. Where my car still sits for 7 hours when it takes 5 minutes to put in a new handheld. The service center once again told me my car was ready to go and it wasn't.Review from Jose M

I've contacted **** ******** after telling her the issue and that am a retired senior citizen with fix income and was the possibility of not been able to go ahead with installation she replied ""Don't worry we hold deposit for as long as needed or will full refund it, well, I've spoken with above mention telling her can't go ahead, she replied refund was already issued, soon as I told her to sent me via Email a copy of refund showing to what card was sent to.... Intoxalock, ignition interlock device provider is collectively the worst most money hungry company I have ever had to come to grips with. Intoxalock claims on their home page of their website that they are affordable, easy to use, convenient, 24/7/365 support, and mobile app. I paid over $3,000 to Intoxalock and I was only sentenced to having the ignition interlock device for a year, between my lease charges, device protection fees, sleeve lease fee, roadside assistant, data processing fees, set up fee, second set up fee, lock out fee, calibration fees, removal fees, mechanic work due to damage from the device, missing work multiple days due to mechanical issues caused by the device, lease extending fees, closing fees, and all and all my mental health which is priceless. Intoxalock is not in the slightest bit easy to use. The ignition interlock device is a bigger distraction than texting while driving and is extremely dangerous. This device is bulky, the wire rubs your leg while driving being in a high stress traffic situation and having to blow into this device while trying to also keep all your focus on the road, being a safe driver. They are very sensitive to perfumes,foods, hand sanitizer and etc. You will need extremely strong lungs to blow into this device as well. Convenience is another trait that they claim to have, I live in an area that sometimes gets below zero in *******. Not being able to start your car due to the device warming up and you having to sit in your car until it warms up so you can provide a sample doesnt feel very convenient to me and even dangerous. In the summer when it gets hot out you need to wait to start your car and suffer without AC on a hot summer day for the device to cool down,also dangerous. Everything about this device is not convenient. As a matter of fact it is dangerous and I strongly urge people not to use Intoxalock.I am very disappointed and concerned with others having to use this dangerous device like I have had to.Review from Nichole D

If I can give them no stars I would. Intoxalock makes it so difficult to reach a customer service representative. And when you do they all seem as if they cannot do anything and will transfer you. In a matter of 30 mins I was transferred 4 times. I called from 3pm until 6 pm and was unable to get compliance department in the phone. When I finally got to the supervisor because the merchant called them compliance **** was closed. They kept putting me on 2 min holds then one time sent me to a survey like they just got tired of talking to me. None of them know what they are doing and its frustrating when you are trying to be compliant and the business doesnt care!!! They have no escalation process and they shouldnt call it customer service if they cant help.Review from Keith O

Horrible company. **************** is in *****, or somewhere. I got a Viol 11, and Viol 12, because my battery cables were loose on my battery, I believe. Charged me like $300 in charges for having done NOTHING WRONG on my end. Then try communicating w/ppl and their broken Indian-first language skills - it's asinine. This company is a scam.
