    ****,Heres what youve told us so far. I also want all this to be documented.1) I questioned the almost $7200 27 points inspection cost. Your response was you used a generic code to by the system to send the invoice2) The next price you gave was $6600 after the past 3 weeks youve said $5800 in which you said you will work the numbers down. 3) I spoke with you and advised the documentation you sent was approved and sent back for $4199.14 thats when you stated saying you dont know how that happened, how I got it, it was a computer glitch and some more excuses. You left a voice message which is attached that the service manager will be contacting me today, but after me reaching out to you I was advised he was off until tomorrow. 4) I responded to your email refusing to pay anything other than what I approved $4199.14 then you said I have to contact the General Manager to fix a mistake/issue that the dealership (you) caused.

    While we've had wonderful buying experiences from Bob Brown Chevrolet and have purchased many vehicles there (5 stars for the sales department) as well as getting many vehicles serviced there (5 stars for the actual fixing of the vehicles), I have recently had two discouraging experiences with phone calls to the service department. I needed to make an appointment to get an estimate to fix the seat mechanism for my husband's truck that he purchased at *** Brown within the last year. The employee who answered the phone demanded that I needed to give her the *** number of my husband's truck because "you've bought like 4 of them from us" and "I can't just make an appointment for a random vehicle." I told her that I didn't have the *** number and she said I'd need to call back with it. When I called back the next day, it was a different employee who answered and he was very accommodating. While he appreciated me having the *** number, he said that it wasn't necessary but it did help. Appointment made.I then needed to change the appointment so called and got the first employee who said that she "remembered making the appointment for me." When I reminded her about the *** number debacle, she asked if I had it now and I said that I did not - I just needed to reschedule the appointment that I had for the next day. She said that she was unable to do that without the *** number and I would have to call back again with it. I asked her to please cancel my appointment and hung up.I then went online and made a new appointment - no *** number needed. I'm not sure what the employee's issue is and why she is making customers work for an appointment. While I'm sure a *** number helps make her job easier, I can't see how it is crucial.If buying too many vehicles from this dealership is such a hardship for their employees, I can certainly take my business elsewhere to a place that will be happy to have too many vehicles on file for my husband and me.
