Schlievert Plumbing overcharged for work that did not resolve the plumbing issues for which they were hired. The August 5, 2022, invoice (uploaded) details 4 trips made to our home. Parts necessary were ordered but the owner never followed up to learn if they were in. We learned this by calling the owner of American Plumbing ourselves who stated she never called. Thus, we arranged to be notified and picked them up ourselves. At the June 17 repair visit, the plumber informed us that the owner had ordered a wrong part; it wasn't the supply house's fault as stated in the August 5 invoice. The June 17 visit is proof that the April 25 leaky faucets did not get repaired. In fact, the repair was to spray WD-40. Additionally, the time on task should be 1 hour per person per visit except for the 6/17 visit which should be for 1/2 hour as indicated.The ************ who came--lead plumber, and assistant--were gracious and performed to the best of their ability. However, they need further "seasoning" to perfect their skills on older homes.The ads stating 37 years in business should be updated to include "New Owners as of 2022." The new owners have not demonstrated the 37-year integrity of the previous owners whose business carried out many skilled repair jobs over the years for us.Business response

****************** response is an indication once again that she was not communicating clearly with the plumber who was assessing and attempting to resolve the plumbing issues at our home.
The incorrect parts were indeed ordered by a Schlievert owner according to the plumber and can be verified by American Plumbing. These had to do with the bathroom repair part needed.
American Plumbing can also verify that Schlievert never followed through to check on the arrival of the part and that the chief plumber indicated that he was ordering a part that I would retrieve at its arrival.
The plumber never fully repaired the leaky faucet in the bathroom because he did not return.
The part for the 2nd bathroom sink part--beneath the sink--was the incorrect part ordered. The Schlievert plumber seemed chagrined about it.
The kitchen part necessary was merely a basket needed in one of the kitchen's triple sinks, a simple repair and is to be addressed by another plumber who has already assessed and confirmed ***'s earlier assessment.
The plumbing pictures below the kitchen sink were taken in case radical repair of pipes might be necessary. Thankfully, the basket should resolve the issue according to the second opinion we have received from another plumbing expert recommended by experienced local community businesses.
Indeed, the chief plumber came 3 trips, not 4, & had a helper accompany him on one of the trips, my mistake.
