Problem - Kitchen subfloor was replaced when sink and dishwasher was moved. There is now a dip in the kitchen floor where there wasn't any supports placed under the subfloor. I also have a sink that the color is coming off the drains and ****** replaced the drains they need to be installed.I have a contractors' warranty stating money back if not 100% satisfied. The contract/proposal was signed in Dec of 2021. for an estimate of $52,545.90. The work was to have started in July/August of 2022. Due to contractor problems it didn't start until Sept 2022. Completed the end of Jan 2023. We were told 12 weeks to completion. ****** did offer a $2000 discount because of timeliness.During the walk thru we listed all items that needed to be fixed. During the last 18 months most were slowly fixed with the exception of the kitchen floor and the sink drains. The owner ************************* has said it will get fixed, In January of this year he told me he was going out of business and to please be patient as he would get it all fixed before he closed down. I have all the records of emails, texts that I received. He finally text me after I asked for my money back to say he was waiting on the flooring contractor to let him know when he could fix my floor.. I haven't heard anything further to any of my emails or texts. I gave him until the end of April for contact but no response. I have all documentation in email/text./contractors app but haven't attached because of size.

We had work completed on our two bathrooms in spring of 2021. We have had a number of issues arise from our tile work, tiles popping off on the floor, grout failing, etc. After numerous back and forth calls/emails/texts, Homeworx came out and replaced the floor in January of 2023. Again, the grout failed. I tried to contact Homeworx again in April of 2023 and sent photos. Workers came out and told me their tiler, ***** had to look at it. I received a text confirming this on 4/28. I heard nothing. I asked for an update on May 3rd. I heard nothing. On May 15th, I was told ***** was trying to fit us in. On June 13th, I asked for an update. Nothing. I finally called on September 25th and left a message. No one has returned that message. I texted on 9/26. No one has returned that text. I would like to have my tile issue resolved. It is under warranty - but it seems Homeworx is doing their best to delay until the warranty expires.

Working with HomeWorx was a terrible experience. We paid over $23,000 only to end up with more problems than we had to start. We have been forced to hire other contractors to come in and fix almost everything they did, and to actually finish the original job we set out to do, which was a bathroom remodel, fireplace remodel, and a few miscellaneous items around the house. ****** (the owner, though we didn't know at the time) was on site most of the first week, but it was hard to get any scheduling info from him. He promised us then the work would be almost completely done at the end of week two, but the second week he showed up a total of 3 hours. We fired ****** on 8/18/23 and asked him to either refund or bring us the material wed already paid for (almost $5,000 worth). He didnt respond after the initial call, when he said hed call us back the next day to reach a resolution. We wrote him a formal message on 8/20/23, and didnt hear back from him for another week, when he offered to bring us only part of the material, which we had already replaced at that point. We then asked him for a full refund after finding out all of the issues hed created on 9/1/23, and have never gotten a response. These are the biggest problems created by ****** that we have since had to pay more money to fix on our own: 1. He moved the fireplace in a way that made it unusable and ultimately we had to replace it completely.2. ****** left ******************* (120v) completely exposed and within reach of where our 2-year-old easily could have gotten hold of them, which is grossly negligent. 3. The shower was not properly waterproofed prior to tiling. 4. He did not install anchors for the shower doors into the walls. 5. The tile floor is not level or smooth.6. His plumbing was not up to code and had to be redone by our own plumber. 7. ****** mixed the mortar for the tile directly on our driveway, causing permanent damage. 8. He did not get a single permit for any of the work done.

I contacted Home Worx to do some basement window replacements around March. They instructed me which windows to purchase, which I did and they told me it would be no issue. They sent a different crew(a different company that they contracted out because they told me their company doesn't normally do this work, which I wish they would have told me in the first place) to do the work, who installed the windows upside down. When I asked about this they tried to tell me I was wrong, until I found the instructional video for the installation of the windows online to prove it to them that it was wrong. At that point they told me they would come and install them right. They were also supposed to brick in a small window in my crawl space. The windows were all supposed to be installed with cement so there is no rot. They flipped the windows but did not put cement in with them so I had water and condensation constantly coming in. They also never filled in the crawl space window at all. I had damage down the walls and on the ceiling from water seeping in. I reached out to them for a refund because their website states they will refund if you are not happy with their service. They offered to come back out and try for a third time to fix their mistakes. At this point I do not think a company who has not done quality work twice and constantly lied should be doing the work again. They also sent their team the last time and want to send them again and told me months ago that their team doesn't know how to do this work. I do not want someone who is incompetent to do the work again and have to worry about more damage being done in my basement. I also do not want them do continue doing this to others. It is negligent and it has cost me a lot of time and money. I purchased the windows from ********** for about $400 per their request and have paid them over $1500 for incomplete and incorrect work that has damaged my basement further than improved it.
