    Promised to add various backgrounds to 5th birthday photos. All backgrounds were white. Took forever to get photos. Apparently her standby excuse is her hard drive crashed. Never did get any photos other than those with white backgrounds and refused to refund some of my money. Never again.

    I wish I would have looked here for reviews prior to booking. Looking back the removal of review sections on online platforms should have been a huge red flag. I will echo what others have stated on their reviews; this process has been nothing but a waste of time and headache. Continuously having to follow up with no response back, excuse after excuse as to why the gallery hadnt been completed when it was stated turnaround time was two weeks when asked, and months had gone by. Also, like previously mentioned I found it odd she wanted payment sent to her boyfriends ***** account. Do not recommend and please be aware she rebranded to Little Storys Photography by Chelsy LLC!

    0 stars poor communication. She told us our newborn photos would be ready in 4 weeks and it took 12 weeks. Also, made excuse after excuse for why she didnt have them ready such as: her software crashing, her daughter in the hospital, and her Aunt dying. We were unable to announce our babys birth or even give photos as Christmas gifts. She has recently rebranded her business as Little Storys Photography by Chelsy LLC (Originally Poppy Photography by Chelsy). Prior to this we paid $350 for milestone pics to hold our spot with nothing on Chelsys (Little storys photography aka Poppy photography) website or through communication stating it was non-refundable when asked for a full refund Chelsy said it was non-refundable. We wanted the full refund because we did not want to work with her after not giving us a timely photo turnaround and multiple excuses as to why she couldnt give us the photos. Even when we did finally get the photos, there were some missing and we had to ask multiple times for them to be added.

    Like others have said, I'd give zero if I could. Eager to work with you then garbage at communication and took months to get photos with multiple followups and no reply. Currently asking to ***** her boyfriend instead of her for services rendered which seems shady. AVOID HER if you want quick and timely services.

    Will not recommend this photographer to anyone. While her photos are cute, her customer service is severely lacking. I'm having to write a review on the BBB website because she deletes comments and reviews on her Facebook page and conveniently does not have a google page. After I booked my Valentines Mini, I realized I had a conflict, gave the session to my cousin, who didn’t show up. I asked if I could reschedule because I had already paid a down payment. She let me, but called me thirty minutes before my scheduled session and canceled. I was able to reschedule on Feb 2 and the session went great. I was impressed and couldn’t wait to see my pictures. I reached out numerous times via email (Feb 6, Feb 20 (received a reply she would have them done that week), March 3, and March 10th), FB messenger and finally commenting on one of her FB posts. That’s when I was able to get a response. I was told her or her assistant had been on vacation for two weeks, told I’d have them in 2 days, etc. and I never received them when promised. When I received my photo’s I wasn’t as happy as I thought I’d be. I feel like she didn’t give me the great photo’s because I had been reaching out to her. Some other issues I had was: 1. Asked to secure a deposit for the session after I had already paid one. 2. Not replying to emails at all. 3. Assistant and herself not communicating with each other. ***If I could leave a 0 rating I would.

    Never going back and do not recommend this photographer. Good at first, then awful. She was very responsive and easy to work with leading up to and during our session, which was on June 3. I even had to reschedule last minute a couple times due to sick kids and she was very flexible and understanding. She also let me know up front about a “hard drive crash” that had happened a couple months prior to my session, and told me she was catching up on re-editing those photos, so she anticipated it might be a month until I got my full gallery, but assured me that is not normal for her. I also was aware that she had been going through some personal things, so gave her some grace with that. After 2 months I inquired about the status of my photos and she told me she would be getting them out that week. After 4 months I inquired again and she said they were sent but might have been to the wrong email and would “look into it.” Days passed and I heard nothing and she stopped responding to my emails. She blocked me from her Facebook page when I simply made the comment that I have been waiting for 4 months. I then told her I wanted a refund or my photos by a certain date and her response was that she was working on it, but she didn’t have internet because she just moved. The date came and went. She ghosted me once again. I was ready to file a small claim law suit against her, but decided to stop into her new studio in Adel first (which is located right by the court house). She still had allll the excuses, including a new one that my photos are on a corrupted hard drive and she had to find them and another excuse about this being busy season. She did refund me that day and 3 weeks later (which was 6 months after my session) I received 17 photos of my daughter in one outfit. We had an hour session with 3 different outfits, so I definitely did not get all of my gallery. I believe at one time she was more professional and reliable but that does not seem to be the case anymore.

    I wish i could say her business was as good as when I first went to her. I have 3 sets of pictures that are paid for…2 have been taken in March and June 2022 and i have not received either nor any sneak peaks. Our next set that is already paid for is for October. I ashes since I still have yet to get out other sessions back will I even get my October ones back for Christmas. Never an answer always an excuse. Like mentioned below she said my March photos were a hard drive issue. But when I seen her at the June shoot she said she had everything ready to get those photos. Here we are September and nothing but excuses over and over. I’ve never once gotten upset or nasty but I’ve gotten messages from others who are in the same boat and reading the other bbb comments knows what she told me are lies not excuses. It’s sad she had an amazing talent and has let it go to ripping people off. I will never get those pictures back and I trusted her to capture those pictures times for me while being loyal to her as a photographer. by doing that I lost those pictures/memories. Super sad over it all…

    My daughter got charged $400 for pictures she never even got. contacted the photographer and she said her computer went down and she'd deliver a flash drive with all her pictures on it; she never showed up never got her money back or anything. The photographer and my daughter were in contact several times the photographer just kept saying that she would give her her pictures and she never did and she refused to give her money back

    First I would give it zero stars if I could. I had princess minis done a few years back and the dresses were rented and very nice so I thought I would do it again this year so I put a deposit down February 2022. I then went in in March 18 and the available dresses were definitely dimestore and I have better costumes for my granddaughters at home than what was provided. However, we went forward and I paid the additional money owed which was a total of $275. We were told we would receive the pictures within two weeks which did not happen and then a month later I reached out to see where the pictures were and was told we would have them within a week. That did not happen. Then a few weeks later my daughter-in-law saw on ******** that apparently the hard drive had crashed. I did not know this nor was I given any of this information via any type of communication whatsoever. I reached out again on May 6 and asked if the pictures were going to be given or not and was told I would have them by the end of that day. On May 14 I reached out and stated I would rather just have a refund at that point as I did not see the pictures were going to be coming any time and it already been two months . I was then blocked which indicated to me that she had no intention on giving me a refund or even communicating with me. I then was able to email and she responded that she would send me my refund on Monday, May 16 as her business was not open on the weekends and she did not want me to bother her during her sons baseball game . I did not receive anything on May 16 so then I reached out again through Venmo and was told that it takes 5 to 7 days which I have now allowed seven business days and there has been no refund pending or even issued. Ive since had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and it appears I will probably have to take civil action at this time because I dont see her fulfilling what she stated she would. Do not use this business
