      Stayed here April *****th. Booked through Hotwire, so the room was already paid for. On April 18th my card was charged a second time by the hotel itself. I called and asked what it was, and was told it would fall off in a couple of days. It never did.About three weeks after the stay, I contacted the hotel again and was told I needed to contact ******* in order to get a refund. I did, and the Hotwire representative contacted the hotel on my behalf. I was told that the manager wasn't in that day, and they were the only one that could approve a refund, but they'd follow up with the hotel and get the refund. A day later, I get an email from Hotwire saying that the manager refused to refund the amount, and there was nothing more they could do.I've received no explanation for what this charge was for, if I was double-charged for an extra night or if there was some incidental thing. Hotwire called it a 'cancellation fee,' which doesn't make sense, because nothing was cancelled. I stayed for one night, I didn't trash the room, and I left when I was supposed to. I just want this charge taken off, but they're refusing, and I've been forced to contact my bank about it.Attached the emails from Hotwire, the corresponding charges on my card, and proof I was already heading home that same day, so I wasn't staying an extra night. (Gas station receipt an hour from the hotel.)

      I stayed the Monday after Christmas. I'm fighting to get a refund. First dogs barking all night. Got move to a second room and with in 30 mins me and my husband got bit by who knows what. Manager said someone would check the room in the morning and I would get a refund. Still waiting. We had left at 3 in the morning and got no sleep. Guy at the front desk today was sexist. I called.... he told me he has no idea about a refund and that they don't give one. Seem like he didn't give a s*** when I told him I got bit by bugs. My husband called after I told him the guy was rude. When my husband told him that he was bit the guy said sorry. Also watch out days in also runs the comfort inn too. Update we kept calling and the women that work at the front desk is so sweet and so helpful unlike the rude sexist guy we kept getting in the day time.
