I was contacted by Smart scripts and I asked if this was about a special order prescription I was prescribed. The woman said "yes" so I gave her my insurance info. They transferred ALL of my prescriptions over (not including the special order of course) as I was telling my doctors NOT to listen to them. They charged a higher copay and when I tried to call and transfer back to Express Scripts they lied and said Express Scripts had to call them. So I called Express Scripts and they looked into it saying no I was right SmartScripts had to transfer the stolen scripts back to Express. When I recalled SmartScripts them tried not to give me a pharmacist who needs to make the transfer but again send me through their chain of people. I insisted and the pharmacist said he will transfer by the end of the day. I am a 40 year old woman and I wonder how many older people they are taking advantage of with deviously taking over their prescriptions and lying about how to get them back to the pharmacy they prefer. They deny I paid more in copays but according to Express Scripts they charged more as well.Review from Cindy L

The same thing i read about here previously just happened to my mother. They called her, she declined, they had her meds all transferred without her knowledge or ok. they transferred meds she has not been on for over a year and a half. they sent a ****** **** for her copay and refused to take the drugs back and informed her that she must pay for them. she told them to pound sand they are getting nothing! This company seems like a crooked scam aimed at separating the elderly from their cash. do not use them!

Our program was built to make the process of taking medications simple, safe, and affordable not to drive any confusion or incur unnecessary costs. Every patient who enrolls goes through several enrollment calls as well as a separate clinical review with a healthcare professional at which time they have the opportunity to decline services. It is our policy to never transfer nor **** a prescription for a patient without multiple expressed consents prior to doing so. Our ************* and ***************** team would be happy to address this situation with you directly and review her enrollment process to ensure our high quality standards. Unfortunately you are correct that as a licensed healthcare provider we cannot accept prescriptions back into our pharmacy once they have been dispensed, but if there was a breakdown in the process we would look to assist her with her copays.
