Received a CPAP machine and AdaptHealth - ***************** # ***** billed us in a rent-to-own basis. We paid our part for 10 months - nothing was paid by our insurance company since everything went to deductible. After 10 months, we changed insurance companies. Adapt Health "reset" the billing amount, requiring us to pay for an additional 10 months. Today, I had a conference call with my current insurance company and the billing department of AdaptHealth. The Adapt Health agent, on a recorded line, stated that any payments previously made while we had the other insurance coverage, were disregarded since they started the billing all over again. Basically, she told me that the money we paid for 10 months was not going to be credited to our account. She also stated, again on a recorded line, that if we did not have health insurance, we would have paid $800 outright for the machine as a cash price. According to the statement from Adapt Health received today, I have paid more than the "cash" price, yet the company claims we need to pay an additional $200+ to cover our rental agreement. In my book, that sounds like insurance fraud.

Returned Dexcom Transmitter in May and it is still sitting unopened at warehouse in September so I keep getting bills for an item that has been returned immediately by me!!! I call monthly to ask them to stop billing me and I wait on hold ***************************************************************************************************************************************************** I will never use this medical supply company again, horrible customer service!
