The contractor was awesome working with my insurance and getting reimbursements. I got roof replacements for my house and garage, gutters, soffit and fascia replacements. From a distance, the work looks decent. However, I have multiple areas with gaps between siding and the windows, gaps where the siding doesn't cover the old siding underneath it, dents in the gutters and fascia and multiple areas where there is no sealant around electrical outlets and doors leaving large openings to inside of my house. I have had asked for a 360 inspection since they completed their work and I'm still finding areas exposed and open into my home. I also had to get a magnet to drag my lawn and drive way due to the amount of nails leftover. I've collected a box of nails after they cleaned up, well over 100 nails. It was insane. They also ripped half of my tree apart on my landscaping and destroyed a ****. I'm not sure if the uncovered gaps caused this or not, but this is my third year in my home, and since the work was completed, I have ants and spiders everywhere in home and now have to get an exterminator. This has never been an issue in previous years. I have also found large holes in the soffit, thick they came and sealed over. After that they did an inspection. Today I went and did a walk around and found the hole in their work where I think pests are getting in. I am just going to try and seal things myself. The work looks terrible up close. I showed pictures to a different contractor and he was absolutely blown away that it was the work of a professional. I will likely have to pay to have this work touched up. It really does look terrible. I feel awful complaining, but there are areas of I don't fix I'll likely get water damage. Not to mention the bugs.. it's disgusting. The work cost just under 30k. I'm so mad at myself for choosing this company.
