Worst shop I ever had to deal with. My gauge cluster was taken there from a diesel shop performing work on my truck. Gauge specialties was to rebuild the cluster as battery light was on and a few bulbs were out. Went to pick up my truck from the diesel shop. Everything seemed fine but then I notice it's not tracking miles correctly. When I shut the truck off it would take about 20 miles off the odometer. Took my truck back to the diesel shop so they could send back to guage repair specialties to be fixed. Diesel shop called and said cluster was repaired and truck was ready for pick up. I go to pick up and battery gauge isn't working correctly. At this point truck hasn't even left the shop. I watched the tech pull my cluster from my truck and diagnose everything while the owner was trying to get ahold of guage specialty repair and no answer. I later received a phone call from the diesel shop about how guage specialties is saying it's been tampered with and won't cover the work. Mind you truck never left the shop. Owner of diesel shop was heated along with me. A agreement was made to put a new rebuilt cluster in. Well that wasn't the case. *** put in a cluster out of a older truck that still wasn't working correctly. Went back to diesel shop. Told them this guy clearly doesn't know what he's doing we need to find someone else. And asked the diesel shop to try to get my old cluster back. Guage repair specialties just wouldn't return phone calls and never returned my original cluster. Now I have to find a whole new cluster when I know for a fact there was nothing wrong with my original cluster tell he got his hand on it. He's a thief. Takes your money does a half a** job and doesn't stand behind his work. Highly recommend to not use don't want other people to have to go through what I did. Completely unprofessional. This guy shouldn't even be allowed to be in business.
