  On May 11, 2021, I signed a complete contract with ************************* of Yearthself, LLC for him to convert my **** Transit cargo van into a recreational vehicle fit for self-contained travel. The job was supposed to be completed by June 8, 2021. The contract, plan, and list of materials he provided to complete the job cost me a total of $23, 370 which included the 3 initial consultations, a sub-standard partial board floor he installed (that had to be torn out), and $18,000 for agreed upon materials for the re-build. He asked for an extension to finish the job in June till July 9, 2021 claiming he was still waiting on materials. On July 19th I insisted to come to his shop and see the van, only to discover there had been no materials ordered, no additional work done, and that "he had spent my money on other jobs for his company to try to stay afloat." He claims "he didn't have the money to pay us back, and that we had no legal recourse because he was an S-Corp, so his wages could not be garnished." I asked for a payment plan, or good faith payment of any amount back from him by 11/25/21, and have not received anything, nor heard from him. He did NOT fulfill his contract, he took my money and shows no remorse for it, and has shown no good faith effort to try to get my money back to me. He has completely avoided trying to resolve the problem, and acts like he can just "walk away" from this mess without any consequences. We had to file a police report in August, but to no resolve unfortunately. I'm completely sick about it, have no **************** and he took and squandered the only resources I have to convert my van, thus thwarting my future career plans. I want him to refund the full amount of money I paid to him so that I can hire someone else to actually do the job, and do it right. He has multiple complaints from other customers as well, even on his public ******** page! He should be ashamed of himself! May he never have the chance do this to anybody else!

  I contracted with YEarthSelf in October of 2020 to convert a shuttle bus into an RV. I took out a 40k loan and provided this funding to the company. The project was started and items were purchased but the money was quickly spent and very little of the project was actually completed. Communication tapered off until non existent despite my efforts. I asked for an assessment of the project and received a very badly partially completed one and was told it was a waste of time. I consulted a laywer who told me my only chance of recovering anything was to obtain the bus and any items I could. As of this week I finally have the bus and items at my home at great personal expense. The build is less then 20% complete and workmanship is terrible. They have made no effort to solve this problem, have broken contract with me and tried to blame me for their inability to complete the contract as scheduled. The build was supposed to take three months. We are 12 months later at this time.
