I had solar panels installed in 2023. Now I'm filing my taxes and I'm sending emails and leaving messages requesting itemized receipts of parts and installation and no one has returned my calls and emails. I just want my receipts. Just answer me.

Ralos solar completed a large project to replace my roof and install solar panels and equipment. they worked as the project manager for the project and had their roofing contractor do the tear off and new roof. during the process I wanted to reinsulate the roof and they were ok with adding the price into the financing and services. however they did not have an insulation company that does spray foam insulation and so requested for me to find a company to work with. I utilized Koala insulation and Ralos assured us that they would handle everything. all quotes and finalizations were sent to them and approved. the project was completed and financing released the funds to Ralos who promptly paid their roofing contractor. a few weeks later I get contacted by the insulation contractor that they had not been paid. at that time Ralos assured us it was being processed. come to find out they did not list the insulation company as a contractor and instead spent all the finance payment to order materials for the next job they were doing. after threats of lawsuit were made they started paying the contr5actor in payments then cut off all communication and refused to make any further payments with $10,000 remaining on the balance owed. I now have a lien against me on my house and am on the hook for the remaining funds.

My heart is so sad to leave this complaint. We just moved to ***** at the end of May and the sales rep came and sold ** on solar. We loved the idea of going with a family owned company and the reviews for Ralos were great. Everything was great until we signed the contract and Ralos got paid and then our sales rep stopped returning texts, emails, or calls. We ended up with an HOA fee because the sales rep did not get approval like he said he did. He pretty much ghosted us. We finally got a hold of someone at Ralos and were refunded. Part of our solar deal was going with their private credit union partner for our loan instead of the government funded loan with the incentive that Ralos would pay the solar loan payments for the first year. I have had to literally hound the company to get reimbursed and now after 3 months Ralos has completely ghosted us. We havent been reimbursed for December and since Dec 28th we have sent 5 emails, multiple texts to our one contact at the company, ******** comment and messages, ****** message and voicemails. No one has responded at all. I am flabbergasted by this treatment especially since the reviews just 4 months ago were so great. We are now out a huge monthly payment we were promised reimbursement for and are now super worried that our warranty wont be upheld because we cant even get in contact with anybody in the company. My advice is to go with a different company because this is just devastating to us financially. ****** learned the hard way.

We purchased a custom window and solar package deal for our house in February of 2023. The solar portion of the deal was completed fairly on time with only a little friction, but the windows have still not been installed and it is approaching a year after we purchased them. We financed the entire project as one contract for $46,000 and started paying on the entirety of the contract in June of 2023. We have since tried multiple times to get updates on our windows with no success. Our earliest attempts were with the original sales rep who told us there were delays and this lasted through the summer. In early Fall we were able to get a hold of the owner of Ralos who informed us that the order for out windows had never been placed. We then began working with him to get new measurements for the windows and get them ordered a second time. After 6+ weeks we reached back out to check on the windows and the permit and could not get a hold of the owner. We then threatened to call the financing company and he responded the next day and said they had the windows but were waiting on the permit. We have reached out to the city permit office and confirmed that no permit was submitted until after we threatened to call the financing company. It has now been a couple more months and they are no longer answer our calls or emails at all, we still have not confirmed they ever ordered the windows and the permit never went through the city permit office. We have been paying for these windows since June and cannot even get in touch with Ralos enough to fire them from the job and are now stuck in a conversation with the third party finance company so we will not pay for a project that we never received work on for the next 25 years.

In June of 2023, I entered into a contract with *************************, owner of RALOS LLC Solar (*****) through his sales-rep (my daughter) that included an additional $15k for energy upgrades to my home, to be distributed according to contract beginning immediately upon funding. While the project began on time and funding was provided by the lender, my payments for the contractor were non-existent. ****** actually refused (said there would be no check coming today, about 30 days after funding) to release the initial payment for near a month as I can only assume he was using the money for other bills and payments; as he was constantly late making payroll for his employees; many of whom were either fired or quit immediately after my confrontation with ****** publicly in his lobby. Only after threatening ****** with going public (I have been told I am not the only customer to do so) and publicly shaming him, did he release the initial $10k; I actually told him I would camp in his lobby so he would have to call the police and have me physically arrested making the evening news if I had too. Meanwhile, my contractor left the job site with an unfinished trench and kitchen tore up. RALOS and ****** are still holding $5k of my money (+near $2k of additional fees) and refusing (after several attempts and the old "it's in the mail" routine) to release the final monies. After this I plan on going to every solar company in the valley and sharing a copy of my story and identifying their peer, engaging my local DA, and the Attorney General of ***** to investigate possible crimes of Larceny, Embezzlement, and Misappropriation of Funds. Taking this man to small claims court does nothing to stop him from doing this to you, makes me do all the work taking up valuable time, but these actions might be enough to save someone else from going through this too. BE WARNED - Do Not Do business with ************************* and/or RALOS LLC Solar or you may regret it as others and I all have.

      Business response

************************* is a disgruntled customer and father to a former sales rep. **** his daughter signed up her father's account, she did not document any Home Improvement upgrades in the Financing or Home Improvement Contracts her father signed. She sold her father a ***** kW system for $44,270, financed for 25-years with one of our Solar lenders, which is a typical cost for a system this size and in the location it was installed. After the system was installed, ******* asked that $15,000 be paid to her father so he could renovate his property. We explained to her this is a violation of both internal policies and our finance partner's policy, and would likely be a felony under federal tax laws regarding Solar tax credits. We told her we would not be exchanging any funds with her father and the only way this could be accomplished legally was if a licensed contractor was hired to do the home improvements and provided a W9, General Contracting license and Certificate of Insurance. She then told us her father was going to have his ******* reinstate a previously held general contracting license so that he could complete the renovations through a licensed contractor. Even so, ***** continued coming in person or sending family members to demand "his money", which we again explained is a violation of RALOS and and lending policies and likely illegal. ***** continued calling the personal cell numbers of our team (provided to him by his daughter) late at night, making vague threats if we did not pay him exorbitant amounts of money which are not detailed in any of our contracts with him, which led to us having him legally trespassed from all RALOS and personal properties. He continues to make threats and slanderous accusations, but the Home Improvement Contract is very straightforward. RALOS has fulfilled above and beyond the contracted services for this customer.

********************** continues to do millions of dollars in Solar, Electrical, HVAC and General Construction work in several states. Our policies and agreements regarding additional Home Improvements, as well as the scope of work ****************** agreed to are abundantly clear. We have thousands of happy customers who have completed significant home renovations with us and we ensure all the work we do is licensed and legal in every state we operate in. I am not sure what sort of money laundering scheme ****************** has coordinated with his friend and supposed contractor, but we will not participate in his felonious activities no matter the lengths he goes to in efforts to slander or extort us. We wish him and his family all the best and we will continue to monitor and service his solar system in accordance with our mutually signed Home Improvement Contract.

      Sincerely,

      RALOS

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: here is my response to ****** as to the lies and attacks  on my daughter and I as spoken from the both of us.

      Sincerely,

      *****************************
If this is how you want to try and spin this, then go ahead. There is nothing illegal about rolling home improvements into the solar loan, and if there is then I dont know why you were pushing us to do that. You keep throwing terms like felony and tax fraud around, it makes me wonder if you know whats coming down the pipeline at you. No matter what you do and say to try and intimidate me or my dad, it isnt going to work. The facts remain the same. You and *** put together the split financing to allow the home improvement money into the loan. I have screenshots of every conversation we had about it.You, ***, and ****** were fully aware of the situation before it even happened, and not only were the contracts not completed by me, but they also werent sent by me. There is no tax fraud being committed since there is an actual contractor doing the actual work; both the energy efficiency upgrades as well as the additional work that he is doing for my dad. There is nothing illegal or nefarious going on besides the fact that you have been embezzling and stealing money from your customers, your employees, and your investors. If my asking you to add money into the financing for my dads home improvements is a felony, then certainly you writing the first 10k check to his contractor as a favor to ******* means you made yourself an active participant. Who really writes a $10,000 check to someone they don't care about as a favor for somebody else they don't care about anyway?? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense on its face. And contrary to the false statement you just made on BBB, my dads contractor has always had his contractors license and did not go get it so he could commit tax fraud. After I sent you guys his contractors documents, it took weeks of you dodging my dad and lying to my face before he was actually able to corner you and make you make the first payment to his contractor. The check bounced of course, and no it was not because it was deposited the night before it was postdated for.
Also, none of this was a concession to me; Tax Fraud is a concession?  Which is it ******? Verbal and text agreements are legally binding, which you have acknowledged several times. I am not scared by your repetitive use of scary words, as I have done nothing wrong and neither has my dad. You need to stop projecting your guilty conscience onto other people. Especially people who trusted and believed in you, that have done nothing but be patient with your money troubles. I trusted you with my father. My father trusted my faith in you. My father has bent over backwards to be understanding and respectful to you. He has done everything he needed to do on his end to make this process a successful and peaceful transaction. But for some reason you insist on punishing him, a loyal customer, in order to punish me. And you punished me to punish your former ***agers. Just like you are punishing my customer *** and refusing to pay her the $2300 that you owe her since you kept my paycheck. You said you would pay her and that when you were done you would pay me, yet neither has happened and your office is refusing to answer or respond to her calls.
You have no business operating a customer-based business in *****, and when this is finished you will wish that you had let go of your pride and ego and just done what the right thing was to do. Its no longer about the $5,000. At this point it is about making sure that you will never have the opportunity to do this to another homeowner again. Luckily it isnt only me and my dad setting out to do this, there is a very large group of people that you owe thousands and even millions to, that also want to make sure you will not be allowed to continue doing this. Other efforts are being made to make sure that every potential employee is aware of your actions and your willingness to use and steal from them. And to every solar company and installer in the valley, so they are aware that you are dishonest and refuse to pay your bills. The public will be put on notice about you and about Ralos in every forum available. And on Monday we will be at the DAs office in both *** and Valley counties with the evidence we have gathered from both previous employees as well as previous customers that you have wronged. Its amazing to me that such a Christian *** would hold onto his pride and ego so tightly as to be so dishonest and operate in bad faith towards so ***y people, but most importantly his customers. I have to hand it to you, you did a great job at hiding who you really are for the full four ridiculous months I was working at your company.
But regardless of who you are as a person, ************************* is still a customer to you before he is my dad. You can try to defend yourself against negative reviews by slandering me all you want, all I see is a lawsuit against you seeing as how I have proof to negate every single thing you have posted online and emailed. Not to mention, digging yourself an even deeper hole by throwing legal terms all over the place and flat-out making stories up as if you are trying to hide something. The worst part about dealing with you is that you say the dumbest things that have no basis in reality and actually degrade people by making them argue about it with you, while you deflect and accuse everybody around you and refuse to take accountability for your own greed and mishandling. Its seriously genius. So enjoy your company while it lasts. I have a feeling you will no longer be in business 2 months from now. Hopefully you will be in jail for everything that has been coming to light this last month. I hope its been worth it.

******, my daughter, is right; you did this to me to punish her for questioning your lies and then punish the ***agers she continued to work for, that left you for the same lies.  Your pride will be your fall from Grace.
      You customer,
      *****************************

In 2022 we made the decision to purchase a solar system for our primary residence. We decided to work with RALOS and we agreed to purchase a solar system from them. Installation was scheduled in August of 2022 and we made a $110,000 purchase of this solar system. RALOS committed to installing the system and providing us a grace ****** where we would not have a power bill for around a 30 day window once converted. The installation was just recently completed (February 24th, 2023). RALOS has failed to complete the installation of the system that has resulted in us receiving a power bill from RALOS starting in October, but has also resulted in us also receiving a power bill from ***** Power. This is opposite of what they committed to us where we should've seen a grace ****** rather than double billing for 4 months. RALOS re-imbursed us for November and December and agreed to pay our ***** Power bill for ******* and February as well. Today we were notified the owner made a decision not to pay us for the ******* and ************** bills. Those bills total over $1,000. The reason the installation was not completed on time was because RALOS failed to schedule work to be done properly and was consistently re-scheduling an delaying the completion of the project. For the amount we've invested in this system, we would expect a company such as RALOS to act in a more professional manner and stay true to their word while taking care of their customers especially considering the amount we are asking for is just over $1,000. Simply put, we shouldn't have to pay two power bills since we were told we wouldn't have to do that and once we started paying RALOS for the solar system, our ***** Power was going to be turned off. I have a timeline of events that has taken place that document RALOS failure in completing the project which would have prevented the duplicated power bill situation we are in and for that reason I believe they are responsible for those power bills.
