I have had 3 horrible experiences at Tom Thumb in ******** My last 2 orders were followed up by managers who said they were very apologetic about my experience. They said they were refunding me for both orders which were my last 2. Its been a month and I have not received a refund for either order. I pay a monthly subscription for this grocery store. I am very upset.

I have shopped with Tom Thumb since the 1980's, however, after today that will not be the case. After a multitude of problems over the last 5 years (this dates back to pre-covid) I'm done. Many times in loading my trunk the person has placed heavy items on top of fruit, veggies and bread. They stack them so high that TWICE I have opened the trunk to have heavy boxes fall out and injure me. The manager over pick up and delivery is rude but nothing is ever done about it. She has been rude to me and my kids. The final straw is the corporate customer service. After months of IT issues on my account and approximately ***** phone calls the issue is still not fixed and they could care less. I did finally get a call back today (the only one I have received after 5-6 requests) and the attitude of ***** in Fresh Pass was really bad. I could tell he didn't really care about keeping my business, so it will go elsewhere. Can't wait till HEB opens till then I will shop ANYWHERE but there. It's too bad I have been a loyal customer for almost 35 years!

Had a pretty bad experience today (12/09) at this store. The (young) lady at the bakery was very rude. She was condescending and demeaning. I asked her about the expiry date on a fudge. It said "6 08" and generally I expect expiry date on bakery items to be few days/weeks out, not months. In any case, it's shouldn't be a big deal to inquire about expiry date. She looked at me as if I made a mistake. Pointed her finger at "6" and said, "what does it say?", in a condescending, rude manner. Maybe she saw an Indian guy and thought that she can get away with anything. I was honeslty shocked and somehow replied "6", a bit meekly. She said, "what does 6 mean?" raising her voice slightly. I said "June". Then she stared at me sternly, as if I made a blunder in asking her for assistance. I could just say "I didn't think this is date..."But here's the thing. Generally I would be more forgiving to an employee having a bad day. What was really disappointing was the attitude of the **************** Exec when I went to her to record my displeasure. Without looking into which person I was referring to, she just said that she'll tell the manager. When I asked if she even knew who I was referring to, she said yes. When I asked her to tell me the name of that person, she vaguely seemed to recall the name of one of the bakery staff. I'll be surprised if my complaint every reached the manager of this store. If it did, I'll be genuinely pleased if he/she replied to my feedback here.In any case, rest assured that I'll voice my feedback on every platform possible and in every way possible. I will not be the one to undeservedly take such rudeness and disrespect.
