In March 2021 (17th I believe) my wife ************************************* was scheduled to get Coolsculpting at Allante for $2500. The morning of the procedure, we get a call asking to reschedule. We explained that we both took the day off of work for it and that short of notice is problematic and asked what the problem was. The response was that they were behind. In response, we were asked about getting an Ultrasonic treatment instead. We were told it is just as good and a $**** less. It also happens to be a shorter treatment, how convenient for them. We were told they could do that on the day scheduled if it was pushed back a few hours. We expressed reluctance and questioned why all of a sudden this was a new option and if it was just as good, why wasn't it suggested the first time? But considering the options were to either take this or reschedule and deal with taking more time off and wasting the day off already taken, it didn't seem much of a choice, so she got the Ultrasonic treatment for $1500. It was a very disorganized treatment, no pictures were taken before/after and didn't seem to be a lot of confidence from the technician (who is no longer with Allante). We were told it may take a month or two to see results, and after that long it did nothing. We have been dealing with *** for a number of months to resolve, she was the one originally that recommended Coolscupting. After a lot of phone conversations, almost entirely initiated by us and after lack of returning messages and a text that she asked for, there was an offer after talking to her boss of either $**** in credit at Allante or paying the difference (****) to get the Coolsculpting. The problem is once you lose the trust of a client, wanting them to do anything to your body, especially if it's after complaining, is an unsatisfactory resolution. *** was upfront with me and said she would ask again for partial $**** refund. I was honest and said I'll go BBB if not. Hasn't called me back...again.
