Instant equity auto in ***** is full of s*** I bought my car 2 weeks ago from ********************* and he assured me and my family that my car was safe and in good condition. He bought the car way over priced for what me and my family originally wanted to pay for. For the price that we paid for a 2017 ****** Altima its disgusting how rude and unapologetic that night he salesman and the Owner *************************** at Instant Equity Auto. The cars transmission went out barely two weeks after buying the car while I was driving 50 mph on the freeway, scared for my life that I would get into an accident and die. I was stuck in a parking lot for over three while I waited for ****** to come and take a look at the car to tell me weather or not the issue I was hearing was real. I did not need him to come diagnose my car just to have me call the tow truck anyways. I needed them to own up to their mistakes if selling me a bad car and treating me like I was just making up issues. I paid $85 to tow the car to their shop and both me and my dad told them to not have it touched by anyone because he was already getting in a plane to come help me. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED. My dad who lives in ****** and is a 6 hour plane ride to even get to me should not have to feel like his daughter new car is going to breakdown on her while she is driving home from the repair shop. We went to the dealership on Monday 8/29 and tried to talk it out with the salesmans to come to a responsible solution but instead all they did was low ball us, barely even gave us an reassurance and the owner couldnt even come out of his office to make things right. THIS IS HORRIBLE AND HONESTLY DISGUSTING MEN WHO WORK THERE AND CLAIM THEY ARE A FAMILY ORIENTED BUSINESS. They tried to cut us $3,000 to buy back the car. We took my car to another shop to get fixed and the owner tried calling the shop to get the car back so they can fixed, said horrible things to my father after we informed him to not contact us.

************************* purchased a 2017 ****** Altima on August 12th, 2022.  At the time of purchase the vehicle had been inspected and serviced through our **************** center.  ************************* and her father both drove the vehicle prior to purchase and in fact purchased a warranty sometime after the sale.  ***************** mentioned she overpaid for the vehicle at a purchase price of $17140 when in fact ************** still values the vehicle at an average retail of over $18700 and ***** Blue Book retail is also higher than their purchase price, see attached.  The 2017 ****** Altima is a good and safe vehicle with ****** miles, however, things can and do happen when we are referencing mechanical items such as a ****** Altima.    There are many types of issues with vehicles, specifically mechanical parts that just fail and cannot be forecasted.   Neither the customer nor our dealership identified a problem prior to the purchase.  According to Ms. ******** statement the transmission had problems barely two weeks after buying the car while I was driving 50mph on the freeway.  ***************** mentions my name "***************************", actually *********** as being rude and unapologetic that night.   I have never met this individual or her father and never at any time had a conversation with them at the time of sale.  Ive still never met ****************** or her father.   I became involved in the situation on August 29th for the first time when ****************** and her father came into the dealership.   On August 29th, from my office I could overhear her father using unacceptable profane language.  We sold our Meridian retail store recently and had to be completely out of the retail side of the building that day so I was in no position to deal with the situation at that exact time.  I asked my general manager to schedule an appointment with them the next day at 1pm when I would be better equipped to handle the situation and to allow for ****************** and her father to calm down.  Neither never showed up at 1pm on August 30th, however I spoke with Ms. ******** mother on the phone at approximately 1:20 pm that same day.  Her mother stated that they had taken the vehicle to *********************** for repairs.  The vehicle was in fact parked at our **************** Center that morning and then was suddenly missing with zero communication.  Ms. ******** mother demanded that we provide her a courtesy vehicle while the ****** was being worked on and I said I would be happy to do that if they brought the vehicle back to our shop for the repairs.  Ms. ******** mother said they would not bring the vehicle back to our shop because they didnt want a used transmission installed in the car.  I informed her that the warranty company controlled that situation and that they would receive a comparable or better transmission with the same or less miles than the vehicle previously had and that Christian ******** would have to comply with the same protocol as our service center.  I offered them a courtesy car for the inconvenience and planned to personally help resolve this situation.  Offering to help, I called the owner of Christian ******** who weve done business with and made him aware.  Per the contract, the customer is required to bring the vehicle back to the shop of the selling dealer if they are within 50 miles, which they are.   After my conversation with Christian ********, I called Ms. ******** mother to alert her that we would make arrangements to bring the car back and we would begin the work immediately.  Although most service shops are at least three weeks behind including ourselves, we had placed the 2017 ****** as a top priority.  Ms. ******** mother didnt answer but I received a phone call from her father.   Again, this individual used profanity and in fact stated that they didnt show up at 1pm to meet with me because he likes to fight and would have fought somebody. This individual didnt allow myself to speak so Im uncertain of ****************** claim referring to said horrible things to my father after we informed him to not contact us.  I have the recorded conversation, this is a blatant fabrication.   Although the phone call was brief Ms. ******** father did assure me that they had everything taken care of and that our assistance would no longer be needed.   This situation was handled appropriately and as soon as I received the facts of the situation, I became involved and was more than willing to help.  There is nothing we can do to resolve any concern when individuals are extremely belligerent and threaten myself or staff. After all the threats and unacceptable behavior, if ****************** would like to return the 2017 ****** Altima to our *************** I am still willing to continue to do the warranty work because thats who we are and because of the family oriented business we represent.

      Sincerely,  *******************************

************** purchased a beautiful 2020 GMC Sierra ****** in March of 2021 that was still under factory warranty.   ******************************* had discussed with ************** at the time of sale that the vehicle was a consignment and we represented another seller and were unable to offer anything additional once the sale was final.   Unfortunately, neither the customer or our dealership knew of any issues with speakers at the time.  ************** purchased the vehicle from Instant Equity Auto Meridian and signed several documents stating that the vehicle was purchased As/Is and Instant Equity Auto Meridian was not responsible for warranting the vehicle after purchase even though the dealer offered an extended warranty.   Vehicle speakers are a maintenance item and are technically no different than replacing brakes, rotors, oil changes, or any other maintenance type item on a vehicle.   Upon review of the Due ****, a document we review and sign with the customer, there is no indication that we owed ************** speakers of any kind.   **************** signed a "buyer's guide" and "vehicle condition acceptance" document accepting the vehicle in the condition it was in.  **************** acknowledged that the vehicle purchase is final and we are not obligated to extend any kind of repairs or replacement of parts after the sale.  We really appreciate **************** business and are always willing to assist when we can.
