Overspray in every room, missing electrical outlet plates, unpainted trim edges, splashes of paint left on heat vents and new laminate flooring, refused to work with me on starting date so after two days wanted to take an extra holiday day forcing me to be in a house with no furniture for days when no one was working, moved my furniture out of the house setting my grandmother antique table in the snow in the yard with no covering (I have a five-bay garage it could have gone into), painted trim that should have been left white, painted doorknobs and light fixtures and did not even try to remove the paint, no primer used so disgusting brown streaks showing through new paint, crack in the wall I was told would be taped over before painting was never taped. They did work outside for me too. I was told they would use professional fabric so wees would not show through the rock, it was not the professional stuff and I have weeds coming up all over, did not use enough rock so the fabric is showing in many places, no tarp put down for the rock delivery so driveway rock and road gravel scooped up destroying the look in the driveway and the road from the scraping and destroying the look of the yard with the light gravel in clumps on top of the dark rocks in the yard, they did not even attempt to track down the cheap fabric around the garage so I expect weeds to grow there too, and while the rock for the garage was dumped on the concrete in front of the garage they managed to get patches of the driveway gravel on that too, and there was absolutely no cleanup done on the concrete making it ***** and slippery to walk across. And then there was the trailer filled with trash they left in the middle of my driveway for two weeks after they were done forcing me to stay home because I could not get my truck past it. So if you want an unfinished and unprofessional job these are the people to call. Definitely not worth the $50,000 he was paid.

Lagunas Painting was excellent. Two weeks ago, after getting a quote from *****, the large crew showed up right on time, did a great job in 1 day less than was quoted, and then examined the job with us to ensure we were totally satisfied. I had a very smooth experience with Lagunas Painting. ***** came out to see my 2-story house with weather-worn wood siding. I expressed my concerns and he explained what they would do and quoted a competitive price. The crew arrived on schedule and went straight to work. Everyone knew what to do and they kept at it all the first day, just prepping the siding. In a couple of days, the job was completed and I did a walk-around with them. Even though some of the siding had been damaged by decades of exposure and quite a few wind-blown rose bushes scratching the wood, It all looks great now. My hubby and I make every effort to support small family-owned businesses. Lagunas Painting is without a doubt, the best. Excellent quality, outstanding value, very Professional, and always on time. Everyone was wonderful. I found all the staff to be honest, and trustworthy. Each one worked as a team and they worked hard. ***** is extremely knowledgeable regarding types of paint and prepping surfaces for longevity. ******************************* talked highly about Lagunas Painting and this speaks volumes about their character and skill.Review from Karri P

I Hired Lagunas Painting LLC to paint my house. I meet with ***** (******** Lagunas) on August 12 at noon and we went over all of the outside of the house in detail and what I needed to have done to take care of some of the old paint problems that I had on the house. ***** said it was no problem and they could take care of it. I paid Lagunas Painting LLC to paint my house on September 6,7 2022 in the amount of $4,353.00. After only 2 days the paint on the sides of my house started cracking and peeling badly. I have several areas where it was never even painted at all. The old paint was not cleaned off and they just tried to paint over it with the new paint. They painted over the spider web nests up under the eves and didn't paint all the way down to the bottom of the boards on the house. They didn't paint my gutters the right color and didn't even paint them all the way. I have brush stroke marks on my front door where they tried to touch it up. They left blobs of caulking on the house, gutters and then just painted over the top of it. They got paint over spray on my cedar wood fence, tried to clean it with paint thinner and ruined it and to top it off they didn't tell me about it. I have an area of the fence to be replaced. They got paint over spray all over my air conditioner as well. I have caulking, paint over several areas of my concrete. It's like they just didn't cover things or pay attention to where they were painting. They were defiantly ******* around trying to get the job done by the end of the second day as I was home to see it. I watched them place caulking in some areas and paint right over the top of it with NO drying time and this is not right according to the directions. When I finally got ahold of Manny (***************************************) showed him all the problems he said they could touch up those areas. I explained to him the whole house needed to be prepared properly and then be repainted. I asked for my money back. I have over 60 pics of the Bad Paint Job!Lagunas Painting LLC Response

Hello *****, there are a number of items we did state we would do & a number we wouldnt. At the end of the day, with all pending items remaining, you decided to unfortunately trespass us from your property. We respected that & as you are well aware out team was very respectful & had no problem touching up the areas that were left pending. To begin, we were never done with the project as stated a few weeks later. We were asked to not come back for no reason, all of our guys were nice and polite to you. All of our work is warranted and certainly guaranteed. You decided to take a different direction so our team was not allowed by you to come into the property. As to the gutter color, we colored matched the color to the exact same color and you agreed after the paint application was completed, you just attempted to get a FREE darker contrast at no charge alleging we messed up (******************************* Reference). All of your pictures you submitted were less than 1-2 Cm in length so we would have literally wrapped up this project with no question.
Please give us credit for what did happen which was the following: We reimbursed you back for the fence panel, we cleaned your AC unit that had minor overspray (you attempted to get a complete free AC UNIT for minor spray that we cleaned. To this day we never left caulking on the concrete and if so, we would have removed it with no problem. A dot of caulking is easy to manage. As to ******* the job, this was never a rushed project. There were a total of 7 guys on your house which made it seem like a quick turnaround because of the man-power. There was plenty of drying time in between coats.
Lastly, you attempted to get a free paint job from us again which you know that did not happen. We proceeded to reimburse you back what was valid from a third party and they also agreed that a lot of your statements were falsified & were incorrect. You were reimbursed. Your statement to wanting your money back was a poor attempted. After going through the proper measures, you would agree that the last call that was made was completely different from your ending conclusion. We felt ok reimbursing you fairly & respectfully to keep both sides at peace.
