I purchased a car 1/20/24 that was advertised as road safe as is with the exclusions of the converter that they replaced. Car advertised as safe to drive. As law requires of a dealership. *** also requires that a car is to be advertised correctly, this was falsely advertised to a pregnant woman, me. After converter was replaced by H&H auto and ********* mechanic I became aware that my car was not road safe to drive. The frame is completely damaged and is dangerous to drive. Both dealerships sell on the same lot and their mechanic informed us the customers that he did tell the owners the car was not safe to drive and needed to be replaced. I made the dealerships aware of the issue and they offered to replace the car immediately knowing exactly why. they attempted to replace the car with higher mileage vehicles wanting even more money and or worse condition cars. After entertaining the idea of replacement I decided I rather have my deposit back. After going in to request my deposit back and have them pick up the vehicle from my house with a tow truck because it is not safe to drive they refused. Under the consumer law it is illegal to falsely advertise. Under dealership laws of idaho it is illegal for them to sell a non road safe vehicle. I am within my rights to request my deposit back and cancelation of contract. This is my last attempt before going to the courts. I have uploaded the basics of the laws that have been broken. ALSO it is under my impression they do not even own the car they sold me. I want my deposit back and be done with the company.
