    Showed *************************** as the manager but no email for her so I emailed ************ come to find she is no longer working there.I suggested this restaurant to a friend as Id been here once before a while ago and really enjoyed it. Today unfortunately was polar opposite, it was a full house. We were seated but waited over 15 minutes for ***** to take our order. I did see she seemed to be the only waitress, so we were trying to be patient. It took some time to get our meals and she forgot the flour tortillas, so as she walked by I said excuse me to remind her and also asked for hot sauce as she never asked if we needed anything else, she said ** getting them! She not once, came to our table to ask how our meal was, no drink refills, no chip and salsa refills, nothing? I ordered beef fajitas no sour cream, no guacamole, no beans just a little lettuce and to my surprise she charged me for it? She didnt tell me that nor was I charged last time. I found her to be hostile and where at first I felt for her turned to she was horrible at customer service and in the wrong profession. There was another lady, she was going table to table chatting. Early on I at one point tapped ***** too mention in sympathy your doing well being on your own, you looked stressed, her response was shocking! Im not stressed and walked off very rudely.When the bill came, my friend put cash down and I laid my card down, ***** picked it up and for some reason said split it down the middle? I said no, cash for the special and card for the rest! My other concern is when she put my meal down and I looked at it all I saw was peppers and onions, wheres the beef for $20? I ate 9 slithers in the restaurant and left the onions and peppers there, less than a handful left!Our lunch was not a pleasant experience, the fact she was over worked was know reason for this poor treatment towards us, we were trying to communicate to her and be understanding until she copped an attitude.

    Hi Kal! Im ******* part-owner, and manager at Las Chavelas. I first want to start with Im so sorry this happened, and it is unacceptable. I do remember meeting you at the nail salon. Im here almost everyday open to close. I was there working that day and checking with all the guests, and Im sorry I missed your table with your friend. I take full responsibility for your dining experience, and I shouldve done more as a manager to see what was going on. ***** is a great server, but in this instance she fell very short. I will speak to ***** because that type of behavior is not acceptable, even if we are busy we should never treat people that way. Your food Im sorry that wasnt up to par either it should have more meat. We pre-measure all meat to be 6.5oz for every order we serve. I may have better options for you to suit your likings, that way your order doesnt have to be modified. Id love to make it up to you if you want to call me at **************
