      I paid monies on a Kickstarter campaign after seeing a product promise by this company on Shark Tank. The product never shipped and there have been many excuses but yet no refund. My phone number matches my PayPal, yet in the Kickstarter portal they have not attempted anything since 2020. The original investment was in 2015!!! there is no way to call this company as their phone number is now disconnected and they do not list a phone number on their website. There were years of delays and promises that product would ship soon, even videos of the product working but never any delivery. They have offered discounts on new product but I don't want to give my money to a company that cannot be trusted and has not delivered on their promise. I just want my money back as I feel this is very dishonest at best. I believe they should have to provide interest on the money they have kept because of how poorly they communicated and how long it took (over several years) to final state the project was dead. This is just not how people should do business and they need to be held accountable for their actions and deception.

      I paid $275 for a Ethos Drone with extra battery through the Kick Starter campaign in 2015 after seeing it on shark tank,I contacted the company in 2016 inquiring when I could expect it and was told they scrapped the project and I would be receiving a refund.I contacted them again in 2019 told the same thing.It has been 71/2 years since I paid for this drone,I would like them to mail me a refund check, I do not want it refunded back on to the credit card as I no longer have that card

      Back in 2015, XCraft made a Kickstarter offer for a product called a "PhoneDrone Ethos". On November 30, 2015, I purchased an order for the product for $250 (with shipping), and waited for the order to arrive. Three years later, In June 2018, Xcraft announced they would no longer be able to fulfill their orders, and would begin processing applications for refund. I made my application for refund on June 6, and waited. Three years later, June 30, I emailed Xcraft inquiring where my refund is. They replied that they were still processing refunds and would get to my name in due time. Since then, I've heard nothing. In the four years I've been waiting for my refund, Xcraft has solicited several rounds of investments and greatly expanded their product line. They seem to be doing this at the expense of the previous obligations and commitments to former customers.

      "We are in the process refunding all PhoneDrone Backers and Purchasers and have issued multiple refunds to date. However, the list is quite extensive and not everyone updated their information in the portal we set up, so verifying PayPal accounts for everyone to issue the refunds will and has delayed the process a bit, but we are diligently working to get everyone refunded. Were you able to update your PayPal account in the portal to ensure everything goes smoothly once we reach your name on the list?


      For a limited time, we are alternately offering $300 off our newly released Maverick SE for all PhoneDrone backers or purchasers who'd prefer the drone as apposed to a refund. We are also offering an additional $200 off for the first 200 purchasers. If you act soon, you could get a total of $500 off our Maverick SE. If this option interests you, let us know and we will send you the promo code."

       

       

      Above is a brief summary of the communication we have had with backers and purchasers who've reached out status updates. We went ahead and moved **************** up on the list and processed his refund which I have attached confirmation to this ticket. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
