Date of Transaction was on 7/13/21 The amount was ****** The business committed to send me a ****** barrel The nature of the dispute is the fact that this company will not ship my item or refund my money. As of now they will not respond to my emails either. They are simply waiting for the contest period on **** to run out, as I now know they never intended to fulfill my order. Simply they take your money and lie to you about the time line. Their website states that orders ***********-8 weeks for completion, and that they have had my product in stock. I have been waiting 12 plus weeks and still nothing.The business has clearly not tried to solve the problem. First off - Thank you all for the review! But more importantly - thanks all for the great year!!
2021 has been the single greatest year for ****** barrel sales in the history of Hern Iron Works! Over the course of the year, we have had in production, on any given day between 15 and 40 barrels each and every day! No sooner would we get some finished and shipped out, than other orders would process in through the website or mail/phone in orders. Thanks again to all our great customers over the last 45 years of historical ****** barrel casting!
****************** order did indeed run long; and all customers are being delivered at around 12 weeks typical production time since late summer. The foundry got to a point that they just couldn't keep up with the demand on these specialized castings in addition to the regular commercial industrial jobs. My biggest mea-culpa in this instance is not following up with every last (numerous) calls/emails from the customer. One can only explain so many times the logistics of higher demand for specialty parts against the regular and repeating needs from high volume commercial and industrial customers that actually have supply chain requirements that have to be held to. I.E. toys come after Tools - and Toys will be bumped later if things come up in the plant.
The production run of these specific model of ****** finished up and were shipped out to two additional customers almost exactly one week after the customer instituted a charge back with his credit card company. No harm, now we do have one extra on the shelf, ready to go. I expect this will be sold to another customer this month.
