****************, the owner of the Gutter Guys from **********, had his people install a $5,000 Sunsetter awning on our deck and did a good job. We also asked them to do some gutter work for us at that time. They added new brackets and fasteners on the entire home. They were supposed to replace a downspout by the front door, which they never did, and repair any leaks in the system. All was well until the first rain, and a leak was found on the corner gutter over our deck.I called and left a message to repair the leak and fix the downspout. I've called them and left messages every year once or twice with no response. I guess they think, just ignore people and they will go away after they have your money. On 1-9-23, I again left a message stating I'd contact the BBB and more if they didn't respond. I received a call back on the 10th and was told by a lady that someone would call soon to fix things. It's now January 26th, and I've not heard a word. A copy of the invoice is attached. I'm sorry that I've referred them to other owners here in our HOA, but never again. I'll advise people to look elsewhere. Hopefully, you can get them to take care of their obligations. Thank you, ***** and *************************.Initial Complaint

The rain gutters installed include a "Leaf Off" cover, which is guarnteed to prevent debris from entering and clogging the gutter. The gutter is now clogged. The guarantee is a lifetime warranty. Gutter Guys has been unresponsive to my requests to visit our house to observe the issue.Initial Complaint

This company installed new gutters on our home. They have leaked from day one and we have tried and tried to get the company to honor their warranty from day one and fix the problem. The owner came to our home one time and said he would have to come back when it was raining to see the issue. That was over 2 years ago and he has never returned nor has he responded to my calls or messages. I have tried and tried to get a response from this company without success. I paid for something I didn't get and their warranty was never honored while it was still in effect.Business response

This customer will be served by my attorney for defamation. I have shown up to this house and recorded myself cleaning their gutters that they have failed to maintain and were overflowing. I have met with her husband and embarrassed he apologized to me and thanked me for coming out on a Sunday to remedy an issue that was at their fault. I will send the videos upon BBBs request after they are turned over to my attorney for the defamation lawsuit I intend to file. ******************* took it upon herself to flag my company on ******** as faulty and negligent work which is false and defamatory and will be rectified in court.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: you can't *** a person for defamation for giving a business a bad review. It isn't illegal to give a business a bad review for poor workmanship. There is far more to this than this business is telling. There are two sides to a story and they are not being truthful. I have tried to reach this business for 2.5 years and they have ignored my calls and messages. There is something wrong with these gutters and they know it. They are blaming blockages. Why are downspouts filling up with mud? That is impossible unless they are not installed properly. And why can we see the light of day through the seams? He did fix this issue when he came out yesterday which was only because I did give his company a negative review on social media. Which is not illegal.
