November of 2021 purchased a used vehicle from Hanigans auto sales. With in a day knew the truck needed a new transmission. Took it to a mechanic to see if there was a simple fix. Went to hanigans to ask about a transmission shop. Talked to the owner ***** and he said bring it back we will take care of it. I did and yes they put in a new transmission. Then their lead mechanic called and asked I pay half. Which despite not being what the owner said he would do, I did agree. I paid half. The truck would not go into neutral and leaked transmission fluid. So Feb 18th The truck would not go into park and so would not start. Called hanigans again. They arranged to have it picked up but 4 days later the truck was still in my driveway and not picked up. Called again and talked to ***** the owner. The truck got picked up new gasket and transmission shifter cable installed. Upon receiving it back transmission still leaked. Took it back march 4th they claim a new transmission line installed. However crawling under the truck no new lines are visible and transmission still leaks and still wont go into neutral. Called again and they just wont return my call. So after 3 more months now transmission light is on, transmission wont go into neutral. Many other issues I bring up about the truck do not get addressed such as broken air filter box, truck needed new injectors (went somewhere else for injectors) but truck is not fixed and can not use it to haul. Last conversation I had with ******** the lead mechanic I asked if they look over vehicles before they sell them? He said yes. There is no way they looked over this truck with any professionalism. The power steering is out but hanigans claims they changed the power steering pump. They offered to change the steering box for $1,100+ took it to another mechanic and the steering box has nothing to do with the power steering not working. Truck is a basket case and not fixed. They blame the truck but dont fix it.
