On October 22,2022 I went to Lambson auto and test drove the 2006 ***** avalanche. It drove fine except for the breaks and the wheel was sideways. But I know nothing about vehicles. They said it only need a service for the 4wheel drive and that an alignment would fix the steering wheel. So I signed the papers traded in my old car for 780$ and drove it home. After I got it home it wouldnt start and the driver window wouldnt roll down and the whole door panel buttons wouldnt work. So we jumped it but it needed jumped each time we turned it off. So I brought it in to them and they put a new battery in for me. After that it started fine. I brought it in November 7th to get the 4wheel drive fixed and door to fixed. On march 19th I brought the truck in for an alignment and oil change at Quick lanes. Half way through the oil change the shop called me stating they the truck is totaled. They did a full look through and asked me why Lambson sold it to me without a salvaged title. They looked at the data base and it was not under totaled. They even stated that the power steering and transfer case were broken and leaking. Which **** auto said they fixed it. **** auto is a partner of Lambson auto. I then called Lambson on Monday and asked what they can do and they said nothing because it was sold as is. They said they would do nothing about my truck. I called and tried to ask for **** the owner but they kept telling me they would call me back and never did. I never wanted to persuade anything because I have severe anxiety and hate conflict but now the truck barely runs. But I had to physically go into Lambson and they offered to buy out my loan ONLY if I buy a new vehicle and put a new down payment down. Thats not fair. I would like them to give all my payments and down payment on a new vehicle or all of it back and them taking back the truck and paying the loan. Id rather not deal with them anymore. They also upcharged the truck by 1000$

We really tried to compromise with ******. Even after she slammed us online and all over town.  In the state of Idaho anything sold out of warranty is sold as is. She signed many documents stating that. We arent sure who *** is but Lambson Auto does not have a repair shop nor affiliated with any. All repairs are sent to a 3rd party, and then we pay that 3rd party. I paid to fix anything promised at the time of the sale, plus many other things that werent promised. ****** purchased a 17 year old 4x4 truck during Covid while prices were up. Then she wanted us to buy it back 2 plus years later How is that fair to us? we thought it was very fair that we stepped up the value on a trade In. But she was not going to be happy until she had a free vehicle out of us.

I am rejecting this response because: you didnt try. I dont think its fair that I had to try for a year to even get to talk to the owner **** and thats because I went into the office and demanded to see him. And I can pull all phone records from the past year to prove that I contacted them. You guys said you would take back the truck only if I bought a new vehicle from you guys. And you wont honor my down payment from the truck. I called the day after I got paperwork stating the truck was totaled and the Lambson office said the owner was unavailable but will call back and never did. I then called again for months and no one got back to me. I am willing to show these phone records. I believe it is rays auto I mistake it for ****. I requested the work orders because my mechanic said things werent actually fixed and ***** received them to date. I did not purchase the vehicle during Covid and the vehicle was priced at 5k not the 7plus you charged me. (see picture attached) i am not asking for a hand out nor for Lambson to give me a free vehicle. I want them to take back the truck and give me my down payment back so I can go somewhere else to purchase a vehicle that drives. Getting the payments Ive already made back would be a plus but I honestly just want my down payment back and then to take the truck. Its not worth it if I cant even drive it.

      Sincerely,

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and within 24 hrs the check engine light came in and it started making a horrible noise. I attempted to make a service appointment 3 times with no success. Within the week the coolant light came on and the heater stopped working completely. I continued to call for an appointment to have the car looked at. I did purchase a warranty package with the vehicle because it was a used car. Two in a half weeks into having this car, I attempted to drive it back to the dealership to have it looked at because I was getting nowhere with calling and I was frustrated. On my way there the car started acting funny, no holding speed, and smelling like burning oil and antifreeze. It started smoking and I immediately pulled over. The car wouldn't allow me to put it in park, because it is electric, so I it the power buttom, at which point the car caught fire.

Car started blowing white smoke in less then two weeks. The mechanic new exactly what the problem was because he put additive and thinker oil in it. The are classic used car salesman. Nice job s******* a kid over on his first car. Please stay away from this business or you will end up as upset as I am.
